Today we’d like to introduce you to Vanessa Espinoza.

Hi Vanessa, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
VAES began as a small but intentional dream, created with the purpose of offering accessories that connected with real women and their everyday style. What started as a single store grew through consistency, learning, and listening closely to our customers. Over 2 years, that vision evolved into a strong brand built on experience, resilience, and authenticity. Today, VAES proudly operates 16 stores across the United States, each one representing the growth, hard work, and commitment that have shaped the brand from the very beginning.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. When I opened the very first VAES store, I was eight months pregnant with Isabella, navigating the uncertainty of entrepreneurship while preparing to become a mother. Shortly after, I was learning how to build a business while raising a newborn, and by the time Isabella was just six months old, VAES had already grown to 10 stores. Balancing motherhood, rapid expansion, and the daily challenges of running a business required resilience, adaptability, and unwavering commitment but those challenges shaped the strength and vision behind VAES today

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I lead VAES as a brand focused on creating accessible, high-quality accessories while building a retail experience that truly connects with women. We specialize in curating pieces that are versatile, trend-driven, and designed for everyday wear, while maintaining a strong physical retail presence across multiple states. VAES is known not only for its growth, but for the community we’ve built and the consistency behind the brand. What I’m most proud of is turning a vision into 16 successful stores without losing our identity. What sets us apart is our hands-on approach, our ability to scale with intention, and our commitment to staying close to our customers at every stage of growth.

What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is the happiness and trust of my customers. I believe that when someone chooses one of our pieces, they’re choosing quality, intention, and a brand that stands behind what it offers. That’s why I take full responsibility for every accessory we sell—if something isn’t right, we make it right. Knowing that our customers feel confident, valued, and genuinely happy with their purchase is what drives every decision I make.
