Hi Christine, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am the owner and principal agent of the Christine Angles Allstate Insurance Agency, an award-winning agency serving clients in Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, and West Virginia.
My focus is helping individuals, families, and business owners protect what matters most through thoughtful insurance advice and strong coverage strategies. Our agency specializes in home, auto, landlord, umbrella, and life insurance, and we work closely with clients to make sure they understand their options and feel confident in their protection.
I am especially passionate about building long-term partnerships with realtors, mortgage lenders, and local professionals, providing insurance guidance that supports smooth real estate transactions and long-term client relationships.
Prior to building my agency, I had a successful career in technology as a software developer and technology leader, rising to Assistant Vice President of Technology at a mid-sized software company and founding a technology consulting firm. That background continues to shape how I run my agency today — using data, systems, and innovation to deliver a better client experience.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Challenges – for sure!
The first six months were the hardest. I bought an Allstate agency without having any insurance experience. I had a lot of “on the job” learning to do. Now I’m knowledgeable and experienced, but I had to catch up quickly to offer advice.
Sometimes the workload is way too much! There’s always too much work before you realize it’s time to expand the team and find the right people to hire. Once the right people are in the right places – it’s a lot smoother.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Christine Angles Allstate Insurance Agency?
I’ve been an Allstate insurance agent since 2012. I’m known for providing education at point of sale and advocating for my customers during claims. Many of my new customers are buying home in Northern Virginia and are recommended by local realtors and lenders.
I am a top agent nationwide every year. I’ve won many awards for continuing to grow my agency client base.
I lead several group volunteer events ever year. These events are supported by the Allstate Foundation through monetary grants. Win! Win!

What are your plans for the future?
I am working with my new team members to make sure they are successful. I have a wonderful team that understands insurance and enjoys helping our customers. We have a wonderful sense of community. I’m very lucky!
We want to do the best for our customers, continue to grow and win awards, and adapt to changes in technology.
