Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Britton.
Hi Amanda, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
BeautyBOXX started in 2013 when I began doing cluster lashes out of my home while raising my two sons, both under the age of three at the time. What started as a small hustle and passion for beauty quickly grew into something much bigger. I began by offering cluster lashes, and later I was introduced to lash extensions, which truly helped shape my career path in the beauty industry.
In 2017, I officially began specializing in lash extensions, and my business originally operated under the name “BeeLashed.” As my passion continued to grow, I decided to further my education by attending and graduating from cosmetology school. After becoming licensed, I expanded my services into brows, including eyebrow tinting, lamination, and microshading, which became another major part of my brand and artistry.
Over the years, my business has evolved alongside me. What started from inside my home as a mother pursuing a dream has now grown into The BeautyBOXX — a beauty brand focused on helping clients feel confident, beautiful, and empowered. I recently relocated to the North Carolina area, where I continue building and expanding my clientele and vision.
Today, The BeautyBOXX is designed to be a one-stop beauty destination where clients can receive multiple beauty services under one roof while also experiencing a welcoming and uplifting environment. My journey has been built on faith, resilience, consistency, and the willingness to continue growing personally and professionally.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely has not been the smoothest journey. One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced was having to move back and forth a few times throughout my career. During those transitions, I had to give up the clientele I had worked so hard to build and essentially start over from scratch. As any beauty professional knows, your clientele is a huge part of your business, so rebuilding was emotionally and financially challenging.
Another major struggle was relocating to a completely new city and having to rebuild my name and clientele all over again. Starting over in a new area where people don’t know your work can be intimidating, especially after already establishing yourself elsewhere. There were moments of discouragement, self-doubt, and uncertainty, but those experiences also taught me resilience, consistency, and faith.
Through every setback, I continued showing up, improving my craft, marketing myself, and trusting the process. Looking back now, those difficult seasons helped shape me not only as a business owner, but as a person. They taught me how to adapt, persevere, and continue building even when things felt uncertain.

One thing I’m most proud of brand-wise is the growth and resilience behind The BeautyBOXX. This brand was built from humble beginnings while balancing motherhood, school, life transitions, and entrepreneurship. Every challenge has helped shape the vision and purpose behind the business.
I also take pride in being an educator and mentor within the beauty industry. I believe in empowering others, sharing knowledge, and helping aspiring beauty professionals understand that success is possible with consistency, dedication, and passion.
I want readers to know that The BeautyBOXX is more than beauty services — it’s a brand built on confidence, perseverance, authenticity, and creating a space where people can come not only to enhance their appearance, but also leave feeling better than when they arrived.
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
One thing I would love readers to take away from my story is that success does not always happen overnight. I am a christian entrepreneur and I make God a part of my daily tasks. I use to jump into opportunities and now I make sure I pray before I make any moves.
There are so many moments behind the scenes that people do not see — the rebuilding, sacrifices, setbacks, self-doubt, long hours, and starting over. But if you stay consistent, continue believing in yourself, and keep pushing forward, growth will come. Keep God 1st and he will pave the way.
I also want people to understand that it is okay to evolve. My journey started with doing cluster lashes out of my home as a mother with two young children, and over time it grew into a full beauty brand and career. You do not have to have everything figured out from the beginning — you just have to be willing to start.
Most importantly, I hope people feel inspired to pursue whatever passion has been placed on their heart, even if the road looks uncertain. Trust the process, continue learning, and never underestimate what consistency, faith, and resilience can build over time.
