Community Highlights: Meet Rupesh Koirala of Project Elevate

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rupesh Koirala.

Hi Rupesh, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started as a software developer. After working in multiple financial companies, I was closely monitoring the rise of Artificial Intelligence. I used it everyday for my day to day life. I realized that big businesses have a lot of power to employ AI in their everyday life. It is actually the small businesses who do not know how they can use it to increase revenue, better the system and use it for every day life.

As a result, i decided to go all in. I learned tools like GoHighLevel, N8N, Make.com etc. I also took courses in lead generation specifically cold email and paid ads: meta ads and google ads. Now i had the arsenal to actually help businesses increase their revenue.

As per my experience, most of the business has either three things:

1. They don’t have enough leads. They try to call their power base, try going to networking events, ask for referrals to everyone they know. They don’t have enough people coming in. They need a proven way to actually get clients on autopilot, so that they focus on fulfilling the clients not drain their energy in networking. SEO, better websites, paid ads etc are some ways to get leads.

2. They somehow have good leads / influx of people. They however have a leaky system. They don’t have missed call text back features. They don’t receive calls after 6pm. They don’t have a dedicated CRM. No emails collected from people etc. This is where they are leaking the business because the system is week. They need a tight knit system from a good website to good CRM and good follow up.

3. Finally, they have enough leads, they have good system, but they don’t have a way to contact those dead old leads in their CRM / choice of storage (Excel , google sheets etc.) They can’t hire a person to call old leads because it is mostly dead. They need database reactivation feature.

I myself have gone from phase 1 to phase 3, so I know exactly what is required. I will provide a proven way to get clients for phase 1, build foul proof system that doesn’t leak for phase 2, and create a constant reactivation for phase 3. From cold email to paid ads, i do it all. So please don’t forget to reach out at info@projectelevate.biz.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has never been a smooth road. Technical struggles was one thing which needed time and commitment to master the tools, but the biggest struggles was in person sales. In the past, i have had couple of people tell me “Rupesh you are super knowledgeable, but you are a bad sales man”. Sales was tricky because i would come off as salesy at the beginning, and it would actually scare people. I had a lady shaking herself as if I was violent when I tried to sell her voice agent.
After time, i realized, it was more about building connection, trying to understand people’s pain point, trying to diagnose people’s problem, coming up with solid offer for the solution, reversing risks so that people don’t feel compelled, and giving clients full freedom that the choice is theirs and not mine. I realized that they need to buy, instead of me selling them. However, it is my dharma (duty) that I communicate why they need it for their business. If i don’t do that, I have failed as a salesman. But if I put pressure on them, i have failed as a human being because I care more about making money and not my customers.
This mindset has really helped me stop doing hard sales. I am still learning because most of my life I have been technical guy (kinda nerdish), but one day I hope I will get there where it becomes smooth and second nature.

We’ve been impressed with Project Elevate, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Project Elevate was developed on the mission to help small business equip with AI solutions. Our main mantra is “elevate your business to the next level”. We want to increase the digital foot print of small businesses. Nowadays, there a lot of tools available, and for a small business, there can be a lot of confusion. What sets us apart from small business is our rapid research of ai tools and technologies. We live at the forefront of AI research i.e. any new AI tools / major release, we research them and ask ourselves how we can use it to help small businesses. From using tools like Heygen, HiggsField, Veo3 just for creating content, to ClaudeCode, Cursor, Replit etc. to GoHighLevel, SemRush, Ahrefs, SimilarWeb to Instantly, Retell AI, Vapi, Skool etc. we test them regularly. Another thing that sets us apart is, we have a low number of staff, and we try to productize things so that we can reuse. This makes templating easy and it actually speeds up the process faster. Due to this reason, we provide services for dirt cheap. Really, dirt cheap.

The most important thing we are proud brand wise is our brand speaks volume. We put our everything to actually increase the business footprints on the internet, so our efforts are appreciated. That makes us happy.

What makes you happy?
What makes me happy is helping people solve real problems and create meaningful progress. I enjoy working with small businesses because they put so much heart into what they do, and I find it rewarding when I can help them improve a process, fix something that is not working, or make their day-to-day operations easier. I’m naturally drawn to problem-solving, collaboration, and finding practical solutions, which is a big part of why I’ve built my background around business systems, analysis, and support. Seeing something go from confusion or inefficiency to clarity and improvement is what genuinely makes me happy
