Long before he became a Lockheed Martin Fellow and Chief IT Systems Architect, Gervasi was a young creative with a camera in hand. His artistic instincts followed him everywhere—even into the U.S. Navy at age 18, where his IT career began. Over the next several decades, he rose through the ranks of the engineering world, shaping major IT programs and earning a reputation for clarity, innovation, and leadership.
But while his left brain built systems, his right brain kept seeking light, color, and story. Photography became the counterbalance—a way to interpret the world through a different lens. What started as a hobby evolved into a parallel pursuit, one that traveled with him from Hawaii’s volcanic landscapes to the deserts of Saudi Arabia. His fine art photography—landscapes, cityscapes, nature, and street scenes—eventually found its way onto global platforms such as Getty Images, 500px, and Alamy.

The main struggle as a small business photographer is getting visibility in a very competitive local market. Getting recognized on social media and Google was difficult. Getting a website ranking on Google is a continuing struggle as their algorithms continue to change. But most importantly, I found that gaining five-star reviews, now 75, goes a long way in gaining recognition in my market.

For that reason, I do not plan to scale this portion of the business, though I will maintain it for clients who value a professional, human‑driven approach.
All other core services—including real estate media, video production, and event photography and videography—are expected to continue at a steady, reliable pace. These offerings remain essential to the business community and will continue to be delivered with the same level of quality, consistency, and professionalism that clients have come to expect.
