Hi Aldany, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m 21 years old and the owner of Legendary Lawn Care & Services LLC. Looking back, I’ve always enjoyed mowing lawns. Ever since I was around 12 years old, I liked being outside, working hard, and seeing the difference you could make when a job was done right.
After graduating from high school, I went to barber school, but I quickly realized it wasn’t something I was passionate about. After that, I started a plumbing apprenticeship, which I really enjoyed and learned a lot from. Even then, I felt like there was more out there for me. I wanted to build something of my own and create a future that I could be proud of.
One thing I strongly believe is that everyone has a purpose in this world. Sometimes it takes time to find it, but when you do, you have to be willing to pursue it. For me, that purpose was building a business, serving people, and constantly improving myself. I believe you should wake up every day with a reason to work hard and become better than you were yesterday.
Starting Legendary Lawn Care & Services wasn’t easy, and we’re still growing every day. There have been challenges, mistakes, and lessons learned along the way, but every experience has helped shape who we are as a company. Through it all, I’ve learned the importance of being grateful, staying humble, and treating every customer with respect.
One of the values we live by is that no customer is more important than the one we’re currently serving. When we’re on a property, that customer deserves our full attention and our best effort. We always try to be helpful, honest, and professional. I never want to be the type of business owner who thinks he knows everything. There is always more to learn.
Today, we provide lawn care, landscaping, mulch installation, cleanups, shrub trimming, pressure washing, and other outdoor services throughout our community. As we continue to grow, I have no plans of slowing down my education. I’m continuing to pursue additional licenses, certifications, and training because I want to make sure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and with as little stress as possible for our customers.
We’re still building our story, but I’m excited for what’s ahead. My goal isn’t just to grow a successful company—it’s to build a business that people trust, a business that helps others, and a business that leaves every property better than we found it.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but I think that’s what makes the journey worth it.
One of the biggest challenges has been learning everything that comes with running a business. Most people see the finished job, but they don’t see the late nights answering emails, creating estimates, learning marketing, managing finances, maintaining equipment, and trying to wear ten different hats at once. When you’re starting from scratch, there’s no manual that tells you exactly what to do.
Another challenge has been learning to trust the process. There are days when the phone is constantly ringing and days when it’s quiet. There are jobs that go perfectly and others that teach you valuable lessons. Early on, I realized that every mistake, every challenge, and every setback was an opportunity to improve.
Being a young business owner can also be challenging at times. Sometimes people look at your age before they look at your work. I’ve learned that the best way to overcome that is to let my actions speak for themselves. Showing up when I say I will, communicating honestly, and doing quality work has helped me earn the trust of customers throughout the community.
There have also been sacrifices. Building a business requires time, energy, and commitment. There were plenty of days when friends were relaxing or taking time off while I was working, learning, or planning for the future. But I knew that if I wanted something different out of life, I had to be willing to put in the work.
At the end of the day, every challenge has helped me grow. I’ve learned that success isn’t about avoiding problems—it’s about how you respond to them. As difficult as some moments have been, I wouldn’t change them because they helped shape both me and the business into what we are today.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
The most important thing to my success is my faith in Jesus Christ. I’m beyond grateful for everything He has done in my life and for every opportunity I’ve been given. There have been a lot of moments where things didn’t go according to plan, but I’ve learned to trust God’s timing and keep moving forward.
I also believe success comes from showing up every day and trying to improve something, even if it’s just a little bit. Whether that’s becoming better at your craft, treating people better, learning a new skill, or finding a more efficient way to do things, growth happens through consistency.
Another thing that’s important to me is taking pride in your work and not cutting corners. I think a lot of problems in life and business come from laziness. To be honest, laziness is one thing that really drives me crazy. If something is worth doing, it’s worth doing right. I’d rather spend extra time making sure a job is done properly than rush through it and leave a customer disappointed.
At the end of the day, I try to stay grateful, work hard, and remember that every opportunity is a blessing. My goal isn’t just to build a successful business—it’s to become a better person, serve others well, and make the most of the opportunities God has given me.
