I’ve always had a natural draw toward healthcare and a deep passion for helping people, but my specific path into optometry became crystal clear during college. I started out volunteering at a local eye care clinic, which turned into a hands-on job offer. That real-world experience was invaluable, but the true turning point for me was deeply personal.
Around that time, my grandfather went blind, and our family struggled to get clear answers about the cause of his vision loss. Witnessing his daily struggles and seeing firsthand how drastically blindness impacts someone’s quality of life changed everything for me. It sparked a fierce determination to dive deep into this field and dedicate my life to helping people preserve their sight.
That mission is what drives me every single day. Five months ago, I took a massive step forward in that journey by purchasing Optiview Family Eyecare PLLC. My absolute goal for this practice is to make sure every single patient who walks through our door feels truly heard, genuinely cared for, and completely supported with the high-quality healthcare they need. It has been an incredible whirlwind, and I am so proud to provide a place where our community can get the compassionate, thorough answers they deserve.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has definitely been a road paved with a lot of hard work and grit rather than a smooth path. I actually immigrated to this country at the age of 16, which meant figuring out a life and a career in a completely new environment. It required an immense amount of patience, adaptability, and effort right from the start.
To make it through college, I worked full-time while managing my studies. Balancing those demanding schedules while navigating student loans and building a career from scratch was tough, but it shaped me into the person I am today.
Going through each of those stages—finding my footing, paying off student debt, and ultimately taking the leap to buy Optiview Family Eyecare—has forced me to grow and mature rapidly. It hasn’t been easy, but the hard work has brought me so much satisfaction.
Throughout it all, my parents, my brother, my sister-in-law, and my husband have been my biggest support system. Truly, without them, I am nothing. I am deeply grateful for every single challenge that has come my way, and even more grateful for the family who stood by me to help me conquer them.

Optiview Family Eyecare PLLC is a full-service optometry practice dedicated to ‘Seeing You Through Every Stage of Life.’ We provide everything from comprehensive eye exams for the entire family—including children, adults, and seniors—to specialized optical services and contact lens fittings.
Because of my personal background and why I entered this field, we specialize heavily in precision medical eye care. We focus on the early detection, treatment, and management of ocular diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy. Additionally, we are known for offering advanced treatments like Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy for severe Dry Eye Disease.
We also specialize deeply in pediatric myopia management. Instead of just changing a child’s prescription year after year as their vision worsens, we actively work to slow down that progression. We utilize cutting-edge, FDA-approved technologies like Essilor Stellest lenses, which feature highly advanced lenslet technology to slow down the elongation of the eye. We don’t just check prescriptions; we proactively protect your family’s long-term eye health.
What sets you apart from others?
What completely sets us apart is our clinical philosophy: no concern is too small. Eye care can often feel transactional or rushed, but we deliberately combat that. We combine state-of-the-art diagnostic technology with an unhurried, deeply personalized approach. Because I know firsthand what it feels like when a family member can’t get answers about their vision loss, I make sure my team and I take the time to thoroughly explain every test result, educate our patients, and actively listen to their concerns. We treat our patients exactly how we would want our own family members to be treated.
What are you most proud of brand-wise?
Brand-wise, I am most proud of the trust we are building within our community in such a short amount of time. Transitioning ownership of a clinic is a massive undertaking, but we have successfully created a warm, newly updated, and welcoming environment where people feel safe. I’m incredibly proud that our brand stands for empathy just as much as it stands for medical excellence. When a parent leaves our office relieved that we have a real plan to protect their child’s future vision, or a patient states they finally feel heard, that is the ultimate success for our brand.

There is nothing quite like the moment a patient puts on their new glasses, looks around, and says, ‘Oh wow, so that is what clear vision actually feels like!’ Knowing that I have directly improved someone’s daily life, given them confidence, and protected their sight is incredibly fulfilling. It makes every single ounce of hard work, every late night, and every hurdle on this journey completely worth it.
