Hidden Gems: Meet Gene Granger of IncuHub

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gene Granger.

Hi Gene, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
IncuHub was founded by Marko and Kristin Frigelj, a husband and wife team who each owned their own business. When they were looking for office space for their businesses, they wanted to find a community of other business owners where they could network, learn, grow, and thrive together. They weren’t able to find the community they were looking for, but they did find an office building in the perfect place for the perfect price – the only downside was that the space was far too big for their needs. Rather than turning it down, they purchased the space and decided to create just the community they were looking for but couldn’t find. And so IncuHub was born. It started with relatively minor expectations – they thought perhaps a few other business owners would come rent space from them and be a part of the community. Fast forward, seven years later, and IncuHub spans three locations and counts over 270 businesses as members. We offer private offices, flexible coworking options, mailboxes, conference rooms, support services, and community for business owners and entrepreneurs.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
IncuHub has encountered several challenges along the way, but has grown and flourished throughout its journey. Navigating city zoning regulations, the COVID-19 pandemic, educating city officials on the value of coworking communities, and managing a growing community of business owners from different backgrounds and different industries are just a few of the challenges the business has encountered. In spite of these challenges, IncuHub has been a true success story and continues to grow and thrive.

As you know, we’re big fans of IncuHub. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
