Meet Morgan Carter Christian of Virginia

Today we’d like to introduce you to Morgan Carter Christian.

Hi Morgan, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I began my career in retail, where I quickly advanced by developing strong customer service, leadership, and relationship-building skills. That early experience gave me a solid foundation in understanding people, solving problems, and creating exceptional customer experiences.

From there, I transitioned into the corporate world, where I built my career in talent acquisition, recruiting, and sales. Working for a small government contracting firm allowed me to wear many hats, strengthening my expertise in business development, relationship management, and strategic hiring.

In addition to my corporate career, I own a resume writing and career planning business, where I help professionals position themselves for career growth through resume development, LinkedIn optimization, interview preparation, and career strategy.

Outside of my career in recruiting, I am also a content creator specializing in digital marketing and social media management. I partner with brands to create engaging content that connects with audiences, drives awareness, and delivers measurable results through authentic storytelling.

I am a graduate of George Mason University, where I studied Psychology and Fashion Merchandising. My diverse background has allowed me to combine business strategy, marketing, human behavior, and creativity into a career centered around helping both people and brands grow.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My journey has been shaped by resilience. At just 17 years old, I became a cancer survivor, an experience that forever changed my perspective on life. Navigating cancer at such a young age, along with other health challenges throughout my early years, taught me perseverance, strength, and the importance of finding purpose through adversity. Those experiences continue to influence how I approach both my personal and professional life, with gratitude, empathy, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact in every space I enter.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a Talent Acquisition Manager with a background in psychology, fashion merchandising, recruiting, sales, customer service, and marketing. Throughout my career, I have specialized in building relationships, identifying top talent, and helping individuals and organizations achieve their goals. I also own a resume writing and career coaching business where I help professionals elevate their personal brands, navigate career transitions, and secure meaningful career opportunities.

Outside of my corporate career, I am the creator behind BobbyBooche, a lifestyle, food, travel, and hospitality brand that highlights the best restaurants, lounges, hotels, and local experiences. Known for my signature phrase, “Bobby Sent You,” I’ve built a trusted platform that connects my audience with businesses through authentic storytelling, engaging video content, and strategic digital marketing. My content has generated millions of views, over 200,000 monthly impressions, and successful partnerships with more than 150 brands.

What I am most proud of is creating a career that blends business strategy, creativity, and community impact. As a cancer survivor diagnosed at 17, I learned resilience, adaptability, and the importance of turning adversity into purpose. Whether I’m helping a professional land their dream job, helping a local business increase visibility, or inspiring my audience to discover new experiences, I strive to make a meaningful impact. What sets me apart is my ability to combine psychology, recruiting expertise, marketing strategy, and authentic relationship-building to create opportunities for both people and brands. My goal is simple: help businesses grow, help people succeed, and create experiences worth sharing, because when people hear “Bobby Sent You,” they know they’re about to discover something exceptional.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I would not be where I am today without the unwavering support of my family and community. My mom and dad instilled in me the values of hard work, resilience, and perseverance from an early age. My brother has always been a source of encouragement, keeping me grounded and reminding me to keep pushing toward my goals. My extended family and close friends have been my biggest cheerleaders, celebrating every milestone, offering honest advice, and standing by me through every challenge.

I’m also incredibly grateful for the mentors, colleagues, clients, and fellow professionals in my field who have shared their knowledge, opened doors, and challenged me to continue growing. Their guidance, collaboration, and belief in my abilities have helped shape both my career and my business. Every success I’ve achieved is the result of a village of people who have invested their time, wisdom, and encouragement in me, and I am deeply thankful for each of them.
