My journey into the beauty industry began when I moved from Nepal to the United States in search of new opportunities. Starting over in a new country wasn’t easy, but it taught me resilience and inspired me to pursue a career that I truly loved.
I discovered my passion for lash extensions and dedicated myself to mastering my craft. Over the years, I built lasting relationships with my clients, and their trust gave me the confidence to open Mantra Beauty Spa.
Today, with nearly a decade of experience, my goal is to provide more than just beauty services. I wanted to create a peaceful space where clients can relax, feel cared for, and leave feeling confident and refreshed. I’m grateful for how far this journey has taken me, and I’m excited to continue growing while helping others look and feel their best.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Moving to a new country meant starting over from scratch while adapting to a new culture, building a career, and earning the trust of clients. Like many small business owners, I’ve also faced the challenges of growing a business, balancing work and family life, and navigating the uncertainties that come with entrepreneurship. There were moments of self-doubt and obstacles along the way, but each challenge taught me something valuable. Those experiences have made me stronger, more resilient, and even more passionate about creating a business that my clients can trust.
