Hi Ti-Jee, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia, I am a 27-year-old hairstylist and aspiring model with a passion for creativity and self-expression. Always had an interest for art and hair since a child . Starting drawing and making projects and doing hair during childhood. In 2013 i chose to start building my clientele and its been a journey as i’m elevating in the entrepreneurial world . As a professional in the beauty industry, I’ve spent years helping people feel confident through hair while building my own brand and artistic vision. Now, I’m stepping into the modeling world, bringing the same dedication, style, and authenticity in front of the camera. My journey is about embracing growth, inspiring others, and proving that talent and ambition can open doors to endless possibilities.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I’ve experienced my share of challenges, both personally and professionally, but my faith has always kept me grounded. It hasn’t all been good, times i didn’t know if i was going to continue the journey or not . Being a spiritual person has taught me to focus on the bigger picture instead of getting lost in temporary setbacks. I’ve learned that growth often comes from seasons of uncertainty, and every obstacle carries a lesson.
I live by the mindset: “Use what you have to do what you can until more is given.” For me, that’s meant trusting the process, staying consistent, and believing that what’s meant for me will come in time.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
For me, art has always been about transformation and storytelling. Whether I’m behind the chair creating a new look or stepping in front of the camera, my work is rooted in self-expression, confidence, and individuality. I draw inspiration from everyday life, faith, and the people around me, and I try to bring authenticity into everything I create. I specialize in Natural Haircare, Extensions and Wigs, Locs , Braiding and more . I love to create and just change someone’s look and make them feel 1000x better . It’s a confidence thing . I love to see someone tap into their full confidence no matter what it is .
As both a hairstylist and an emerging model, I see beauty as more than appearance—it’s about helping people feel seen, empowered, and comfortable in who they are.
What sets me apart is that i observe and know when and how to connect. I look at it as a gift . I’ve met so many people and made so many great connections and everyone always tell me they can see the “ Light” over me and my life and i believe that will carry be through as long as i stay grounded and continuously pushing to achieve my goals .
Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
Outside of my work, I enjoy baking, cooking, listening to music, and anything that allows me to be creative. I’ve always been drawn to hands-on experiences—whether that’s carefully decorating a cake, experimenting with new recipes, or diving into a craft project. I love the balance of keeping my hands polished and clean while also not being afraid to get them dirty in the name of creating something meaningful.
