Daily Inspiration: Meet Vincent Seng

Today we’d like to introduce you to Vincent Seng.

Hi Vincent, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
We started as a group of friends who simply loved making videos and telling stories. What began as a creative passion eventually grew into a production company, where we took on projects across the food industry, events, commercials, music videos, and dance videos.

As we grew, we each began developing our own specialties. I focused on documentary videography and storytelling, while my partners pursued full-time editing and concert photography. We brought together our network of creative friends and built a company around the idea that each of us could contribute our own talents and perspectives.

Over time, we realized that we could bring those skills together in a different way. That led us to shift our focus toward weddings and events, combining photography, cinematic videography, music, and event planning into one experience.

Today, our goal is to make the wedding process feel seamless for our couples while capturing the moments and details that make their story unique. What started as a group of friends making videos has grown into a team dedicated to planning, producing, and capturing unforgettable wedding experiences.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but I think that’s what has made the journey so rewarding. One of our biggest challenges was figuring out how to grow a creative business while also allowing each of us to grow individually. As our careers developed, our roles and availability changed, and we had to learn how to adapt as a company.

Another challenge was finding our identity and figuring out where we could provide the most value. We started by taking on all kinds of creative projects, from commercials and events to music and dance videos. Eventually, we realized that our strengths could come together in a bigger way through weddings and event production.

There were certainly moments of uncertainty, but every challenge taught us something about business, creativity, and working together. Looking back, I’m grateful we didn’t have everything figured out from the beginning. The obstacles forced us to grow, refine our vision, and ultimately build a company that reflects who we are today.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
At Create & Capture Media, we specialize in bringing the creative and production side of weddings together under one team. Our services include wedding planning, cinematic videography, photography, music, and event production. Rather than looking at each of these as separate services, we approach a wedding as one complete story and experience.

My background is in documentary filmmaking, so storytelling is at the heart of everything we do. We want to capture more than just beautiful images—we want to capture the people, emotions, personalities, and little moments that make each couple’s story unique.

What I’m most proud of is how far we’ve come from where we started. We were a group of friends making videos because we loved creating, and today we’re able to bring together a team of talented creatives to help couples create and preserve some of the most important memories of their lives.

I think what sets us apart is that we’re not trying to fit every couple into the same formula. We bring our production experience and creative perspective to each wedding while working closely with our couples to understand what makes their story special. Our goal is to make the entire experience feel personal, seamless, and intentional—from planning and production to the final photo and film.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Word of mouth, Social media, and really just networking that you are in the field with others. If you have the portfolio then sharing with others work! You never know who you can get. I am still working on it, but there can always be one person to the domino effect
