My Queens Royalty Story 👑

Queens Royalty didn’t just start as a business idea, a logo, or a T-shirt. It started with a desire to change the way women saw and treated one another.
When I was a young lady growing up in an urban community, I noticed something that stayed with me: many of the women around me didn’t always have positive relationships with one another. There was often competition, negativity, division, and a lack of encouragement between women.
I knew I wanted to be a part of changing that.
But I didn’t start with a business plan.
I started by changing the way I spoke.
I simply started calling women “Queens.” 👑
I would give compliments, speak positively to people, show love, and intentionally make other women feel seen and valued.
At first, my friends laughed at me.
They thought it was funny that I was calling everybody “Queen.” 😂 But I kept doing it. Eventually, they got used to it. Then something beautiful started happening.
People began addressing me the same way I addressed them.
The positivity I was putting out started coming back.
That small change in language was becoming something much bigger than I realized.
One day, I was on the phone with a friend of mine, and he said something that would change everything:
“You should put this Queen stuff to paper. It’s really dope. It’s YOU. You need to do that now.”
Then he asked me if I had an LLC.
I didn’t.
So right there over the phone, he began walking me through the process.
And the rest is history.
That was the beginning of Queens Royalty LLC. 👑
As the vision developed, I knew Queens Royalty needed to stand for more than a business. It needed to represent what had been in my heart from the beginning—unity, encouragement, faith, love, and women helping women win.
That’s when I came up with my tagline:
TOGETHER WE ALL WIN… IN THE FAITH!
I also connected Queens Royalty to a scripture that represents the heart of the movement, 1 Peter 2:9, which reminds us that we are “a chosen people, a royal priesthood” and God’s special possession.
That word ROYAL meant something to me.
Royalty wasn’t about thinking you were better than anyone else. It was about recognizing the value God placed inside of you—and then being secure enough in your own value to recognize it in somebody else.
From there, Queens Royalty began to grow.
I started doing community outreach and creating opportunities to bring people together. We held tea parties, fundraisers, color-themed events, mentoring activities, community events, and other outreach initiatives.
My social media page began gaining followers. People connected with the message. They started purchasing T-shirts with the Queens Royalty logo, wearing the brand and becoming part of what was growing into a movement.
But the clothing was never the whole vision.
Queens Royalty is about PEOPLE.
It’s about everybody coming together.
It’s about women supporting women.
It’s about replacing competition with collaboration.
It’s about encouraging somebody else without feeling like their success takes anything away from yours.
It’s about looking at another woman and saying, “Queen, I see you. I celebrate you. I want you to win too.”
Because I truly believe there is enough room for all of us.
Over the years, my own life has taken me through many different seasons. I’ve worked in education, human services, ministry, community outreach, leadership, and creative spaces. I’ve spent years pouring into other people, encouraging them, helping them, creating for them, and reminding them of what they carry.
Looking back, I can see how all those experiences connected to the vision God had already placed inside of me.
Queens Royalty represents my own growth too.
I didn’t get here because everything in my life went perfectly. I got here through lessons, disappointments, changes, responsibilities, closed doors, new beginnings, and moments when I had to remind myself of my own worth.
And through all of it, the vision remained:
UNITY. LOVE. FAITH. PURPOSE. COMMUNITY. 👑
Today, when I look at Queens Royalty, I don’t just see an LLC.
I see that young woman who decided she could change her environment simply by changing the way she spoke to people.
I see the friends who laughed when I first started calling everybody Queens.
I see the friend who recognized something in me and told me, “This is YOU.”
I see every person who followed the page.
Every person who bought a shirt.
Every person who attended an event.
Every person who volunteered.
Every person who received encouragement.
And every person who decided they wanted to be part of the movement.
Most importantly, I see the vision God gave me coming to life.
Queens Royalty is about everyone coming together.
It is about unity.
And I’m so grateful that people are happy and excited to be a part of something that started with something as simple as calling somebody else a Queen. 👑
Sometimes a movement doesn’t begin with a building, a huge budget, or thousands of followers.
Sometimes it begins with one person deciding to speak differently, love differently, and treat people differently.
That’s how Queens Royalty started.
That’s how I got here.
And I believe there is still so much more to come.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
What are some challenges and hurdles you have faced?
Some of the biggest challenges I have faced with Queens Royalty have been getting people to fully understand and believe in the vision, remaining consistent, finding the resources to grow, and balancing the business with my everyday responsibilities.
In the beginning, even something as simple as me calling women “Queens” was laughed at by some of my friends. I had to be confident enough to continue doing something that I believed could create a more positive environment, even before other people understood it.
Another challenge has been funding. Community outreach, events, merchandise, mentoring, and building a brand all require resources. There have been times when I had a big vision but didn’t necessarily have the financial resources, sponsorships, or support needed to execute it exactly the way I imagined.
Consistency has also been a hurdle. Life happens, and while building Queens Royalty, I have also had to balance my career, family, ministry, personal responsibilities, and my own growth. There have been seasons when I could give Queens Royalty more attention than others.
I have also learned that everybody will not understand or support your vision, and that is okay. One of my biggest lessons has been learning not to measure the value of the vision by how many people support it at a particular moment.
Through every challenge, I continue to come back to the reason I started: unity. Queens Royalty was created to encourage people, bring women together, promote positivity, serve the community, and remind people of their value.
The hurdles have actually helped me become a stronger leader. They have taught me patience, perseverance, creativity, and faith. Most importantly, they have taught me that when God gives you a vision, you have to remain faithful to it even when the journey doesn’t look exactly how you imagined.
That is why my message remains:
