Originally from Wisconsin, her journey began with a natural curiosity for exploration and a profound appreciation for the environment. Holding degrees in wildlife ecology and conservation biology, she spent formative years immersed in the lush landscapes of Central and South America, conducting research on extraordinary species such as jaguars. These experiences cultivated a sensitivity to balance, texture, and the quiet power of natural beauty — elements that continue to inform her design philosophy.
Now based in Charlottesville, Virginia, she brings this distinctive background to the world of interior design. Her work is characterized by a seamless blend of European refinement, vintage character, and artistic expression. Each project is approached as a carefully composed narrative — layered, harmonious, and tailored to reflect the individuality of her clients. The result is spaces that embody tranquility, elegance, and effortless comfort.
An avid traveler, she continues to draw inspiration from historic European cities, global design traditions, and the restorative simplicity of nature. We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Well there have certainly been a few, but I’ve learned to navigate them and grow from these experiences and remain grateful for where I am today.
