Hi Monica, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey began in PA at my family-owned salon, where my love for wedding hair first started. As our clients, family, and friends began getting married, we found ourselves hosting large wedding parties, and I quickly fell in love with being part of those special moments.
After moving to VA, I realized how much I missed the wedding side of the beauty industry. That passion led me to co-found Sincerely,ME Beauty Inc, bringing a personalized, on-location hair and makeup experience directly to brides. What started as a shared vision has grown into a business, I am incredibly proud to own and lead today.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like any business, it hasn’t always been a smooth road. Building a brand, growing a team, and finding the right balance between business and family life have all come with challenges. One of the biggest has been finding the artist who not only have the talent, and experience but also share the same values, professionalism, and genuine care of our clients. I’ve been incredibly blessed to work alongside some amazing artists who share that vision. I’ve learned that owning a business requires flexibility, patience and the ability to adapt. Every challenge has been a learning experience and has helped shape Sincerely,ME into what it is today.

Sincerely,ME Beauty Inc. is an on-location hair and makeup company specializing in bridal beauty, special events, and photoshoots throughout Northern Virginia and beyond.
We’re known for creating elevated, natural beauty looks that allow our clients to look and feel like themselves. Beyond the artistry, we pride ourselves in bringing a calming, professional, and genuine presence to every wedding day.
What sets us apart is our personalized approach, flexibility, and no minimum service requirements. Every wedding is unique, and we believe the beauty experience should reflect that.
I’m most proud of the talented artist I’ve been blessed to work alongside and the experience we’ve created together. Knowing we’ve helped make someone’s special day even more memorable is incredibly rewarding.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson I’ve learned along my journey is that beauty is about so much more than the final look. It’s about making people feel confident, comfortable, and truly like themselves during some of the most meaningful moments of their lives.
I’ve also learned the importance of staying flexible, leading with kindness, and trusting the process. Every client, wedding, and experience is unique, and being able to listen, adapt, and create a calm presence has been just as valuable as the artistry itself.
Most importantly, I’ve learned that success is not built alone. I’m incredibly grateful for the constant support of my family, the talented artist I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside and I’m proud of the community and experience we’ve created together.
