Hi Jalisa, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Jalisa is a creative artist loves makeup and loves creating skin like clean application. Over the years my passion for makeup has truly been an amazing ride from 2016-20 and of course it didn’t stop there, I ended up taking my education to the next level studying at Virginia College as a cosmetologists and learning about hair color and cut, growing and taking my learning experience to the next level, started investing into classes with artists by Renny Vasquez (Beauty and Beyond the Makeup, Lauren D’Amelio (The Elite Mua Blueprint),Danessa Myricks Teach Me Tuesday’s and etc. I’ve always dream of educating others with over and under painting technique throughout my artistry and creating a spot-on excitement before and after sessions throughout my work.
As a professional makeup artist, Iam constantly dedicated to enhancing the natural beauty of my clients. My passion for makeup started young age and has only grown stronger over the years. I have spent countless hours perfecting my craft and keeping up with the latest trends and techniques with extensive knowledge about different skin types, face shapes, and color theories. Iam equipped to create flawless skin like looks for any occasions. My goal is to make my clients feel confident and empowered through the transformative power of makeup. I am always excited to meet new people and help them discovered their unique beauty. It would be my pleasure to work with you and create a personalized stunning look that reflect your individuality.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Yes, I’ve faced my share of challenges—times when life knocked me down more than once. I’ve had surgeries, injuries, and setbacks, but I kept pushing forward. I started creating live tutorials, exploring new places, and taking editorial-style photos, pouring my energy into my passion. Then, just when I was gaining momentum, my page got hacked. The frustration and disappointment hit hard—I felt defeated and doubted myself.
But instead of giving up, I decided to rebuild. My life felt like a mess, but I saw an opportunity to pivot. I transformed my page, shifted my content, and began sharing my journey—the real, unfiltered story of my struggles and growth. It wasn’t just about aesthetics anymore; it became a space for authenticity, resilience, and my evolving story.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I’ve always had a passion to teach women how to look beautiful and confident in their own skin. I’m more soft spoken but I have alot of wisdom and knowledge when comes to details.
