Today we’d like to introduce you to Lionel Victor.
Lionel , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started my creative journey back in 2012, working with embroidery and exploring different ways to bring ideas to life. In the beginning, I was doing pop-ups alongside other creatives, connecting with people, sharing our work, and just enjoying the creative community. As time went on, things naturally grew. What started as creating for my own brand evolved into helping other people and businesses bring their ideas to life through custom embroidery, apparel, and design. Today, I continue to grow Kosher Ave, taking on new projects, meeting new people, and finding different ways to express creativity through my work.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There have definitely been plenty of ups and downs along the way, but each experience has helped me realize that this is truly what I want to do. I’ve had moments where I really had to reach into my bag of faith, trust the process, and believe that things would work out. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is how important it is to stay optimistic and positive while still being realistic about the world around me. Not everything goes as planned, but I’ve learned to adapt, keep creating, and move forward. I think finding that balance between faith, patience, and reality has been one of my greatest strengths throughout this journey.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
What I love most about what I do is simply being creative and helping bring ideas to life, whether it’s for my own brand, Kosher Ave, or someone else’s vision. I’ve been specializing in embroidery for over five years, while also working with DTG, DTF, and screen printing. All of these techniques have played a big part in building my creative foundation and shaping how I approach different projects.
I take pride in being able to turn an idea into something you can actually wear, see, and appreciate. I enjoy experimenting, learning new techniques, and finding ways to make each project feel unique. I think what sets me apart is that I genuinely enjoy the creative process just as much as the finished product. I’m always looking to grow, collaborate with other creatives, and eventually bring even bigger, more exciting projects to life.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Growing up, I loved playing soccer and honestly just enjoying being a kid. I also thought it was really cool getting to experience different cultural trends and seeing new styles, ideas, and creative movements emerge. Looking back, it was a fun time to grow up, and I think being surrounded by all that creativity and culture naturally influenced how I see the world and express myself today.
