Today we’d like to introduce you to Che’Won Bell.
Hi Che’Won, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my career as a Dental Technician when I was offered an opportunity in High school to attend a trade school. Initially, I was suppose to enroll in Fire 1st responders, or EMT. However, my application was taking forever to get a response, so I had my mother call to check on my application and all she remembered was Dental (my 3rd choice). Upon attending class I was trying to switch out, but we took our 1st test and I aced it. So I stuck with it. For 15 years may I add. In those 15 years I work in every aspect of Dentistry, becoming a surgical technician w/ dental anesthesia, meaning under direct supervision from a Dentist or Surgeon w/ a anesthesia license, I could push anesthetic drugs. One day, doing hospital dentistry, a nurse had a conversation with me about all my certifications, and suggested I go to school for nursing, because I could be universal and don’t have to keep going back to school. I gave myself a year to find a school in Ga, however, Va is where I found a nursing school that offered night classes. I went home to Va for a funeral, caught COVID and after enrolled in nursing school. Two years later I’m a RN. During Nursing school I was presented a opportunity to merge my catering and meal prep business with a food truck, which was super successful. In the mist, I was offered by my best friend to join his financial firm, in which I gave push back for about four years. One day I have an epiphany, thus Millz Financial Group Virginia/Atlanta was created. 3 seasons in, I expanded to create MFG NewYork.
During my 1st interview, I was just starting out. I challenge myself, and spoke into existence, my success, stating I will be a millionaire.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It most definitely have been a rough road, from the lack of support, to the hate, jealousy and people trying to tear down my businesses.
Some people don’t support you until they are forced to support you, meaning they went elsewhere and couldn’t achieve their desired results. Even down to family. Everyone have there hand out but wouldn’t like, or share a post for free. Very few people believed in me and my vision.
A wise man once said, “don’t eat with those who didn’t starve with you “. Achieving success is only part of the battle. Having the wisdom to carry what God has blessed you with is the true challenge.
The sad part about being successful, is that ppl often take your success, you having fun or even vacationing as an opportunity to ask for something. Same individuals who didn’t support not one business venture.
I remember being sick and in the hospital, yet people still reached out to ask to borrow money. I’m thinking to myself, you all didn’t even ask if I needed anything, a bill paid, house chores, anything, however my Gbaby who had cancer and mother flew to be by my side and make sure I was ok. Even down to my pastor called to pray for and over me. PRICELESS
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Millz Financial Group VATL/NY?
MFG is a high end financial that specializes in business and personal taxes. We are under the umbrella of Everybody Eats, which is an organization of businesses ranging from investors, handymen/repairs, event planning, trucking/dispatch, home healthcare, realtors, credit repair, and more with over 25 franchises.
I, myself, own two of the franchises, a group home, & a catering business to say the least. I’m also a RN with 3 degrees in nursing, working in my fourth as a Doctoral Candidate with a Doctor of Nursing Practice-DNP ( 1 class left), and have over 25 licensures and certifications ranging from Nursing, Dentistry, Finance and Hospitality. Do I really need to explain what sets me apart from everyone else?
I’m proud of despite the lack of support from my own and the negative stigma, I still came out on top. I’m able to provide jobs and give back to the community with my annual school drive and feed the homeless.
I want readers to know they could join the Everybody eats movement or support by being a customer lol
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters to me the most is being successful and doing what honors God the most. I feel like God chose me for a reason, even though I’m not perfect, I still move according to his will. I often fall short, because I’m human, but I pray every day and push forward.
