Hidden Gems: Meet La’Chaiel Johnson of Healing And Restore

Today we’d like to introduce you to La’Chaiel Johnson.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey with Healing And Restore began with something deeply personal: my own struggles with women’s health, my faith in God, and my desire to find answers when I felt like I had exhausted every available option.
As a woman living with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and endometriosis, two chronic conditions that have significantly impacted my life, I understand firsthand how challenging it can be to navigate women’s health concerns while searching for answers, relief, and support. Throughout my journey, I experienced miscarriages and endured vaginal bleeding for two consecutive years, loss of motor skills and able to do daily life activities by myself. I visited doctors, pursued treatments, and spent money I didn’t have trying to understand what was happening to my body. Unfortunately, I continued to struggle, and my symptoms seemed to worsen rather than improve.
That season was one of the most difficult periods of my life, but it was also when my faith grew stronger than ever. After exhausting myself trying to find answers on my own, I reached a point where I surrendered everything to God. I remember praying and telling Him that I had done everything I knew how to do, and I was placing the rest in His hands. I asked Him to allow me to be completely done bleeding by the time my birthday arrived that year.
From that moment, I began approaching my journey differently. I started spending time at Barnes & Noble reading books about healing, herbal wellness, and women’s health. I researched my conditions, educated myself about my body, and began exploring holistic wellness practices alongside incorporating exercise into my lifestyle. I became more intentional about understanding my body and discovering ways to support my overall well-being.
Over time, my bleeding stopped. That experience became a significant turning point in my life and sparked my passion for holistic wellness and women’s health education. Although I recognize that my experience is personal and that PCOS and endometriosis affect every woman differently, my journey taught me how important it is for women to feel empowered to ask questions, seek answers, and become informed participants in their own healthcare.
As I continued learning and growing, I began developing products inspired by my interest in women’s intimate wellness, including yoni gels, yoni oils, washes, and products associated with yoni steaming. What initially started as a personal journey toward understanding my body eventually became something much bigger than I had imagined.
I know God placed it on my heart to share my story and my passion with women beyond my own circumstances. Initially, I thought my mission would be to reach women who were experiencing the same chronic illnesses I was facing. However, I eventually realized that my purpose extended to women from all walks of life. Every woman has a story, a struggle, a question, or a season in which she needs support. Sometimes, a woman needs education and resources. Other times, she simply needs a safe space where she can speak openly without feeling judged.
That realization became the foundation of Healing And Restore.
My professional background also played an important role in bringing this vision to life. As a Certified Medical Assistant, Spa Owner, Doula, Women’s Health Advocate and Multi- Entrepreneurship , I have gained experience in different areas of care, education, beauty, and business. My medical experience helped me appreciate the importance of healthcare education, while my personal experience gave me a deeper understanding of how isolating it can feel when you are struggling to find answers. My work as a doula has further strengthened my passion for supporting women and families through significant seasons of life.
I wanted to bring these experiences together to create a brand that offered more than products. I wanted Healing And Restore to be a place where women could feel seen, heard, safe, educated, and supported. A place where conversations about women’s health could happen more openly and where wellness could be approached with compassion, dignity, and intention.

Today, Healing And Restore represents a walking miracle graced by God. Through our wellness products, educational efforts, and commitment to supporting women, I hope to create meaningful experiences that encourage women to prioritize their well-being and feel more confident advocating for themselves.
I also recognize that every woman’s journey is different. My goal is not to suggest that one approach works for everyone, but to encourage women to seek knowledge, ask questions, pursue appropriate medical care, and explore wellness practices that support their individual needs and do not stop until they are heard.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As much as I would love to say there were no obstacles that would be a fairytale. My entrepreneurial journey has required sacrifice, courage, and faith. Building this kind of business has not always been easy but worth it.
There have been moments of uncertainty, financial pressure, and a lot of asking God why me to be on the spotlight and having to take leaps of faith without knowing exactly how everything would work out. However, those difficult seasons helped shape the vision behind Healing And Restore.

Although the road has not been easy, I believe every season has helped prepare me for the work I am doing now. Healing And Restore is a reminder that even in our hardest seasons, purpose can emerge, and we can use what we have walked through to help others feel less alone.

We’ve been impressed with Healing And Restore, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Healing And Restore is a women-centered wellness brand built on faith, education, personal experience, and the belief that every woman deserves to feel seen, heard, supported, and empowered in her wellness journey. What began as a personal journey with my own reproductive health challenges has grown into a mission to serve women in multiple areas of their lives, including intimate wellness, self-care, pregnancy, postpartum, and overall well-being.
As a Certified Medical Assistant and Doula I bring a unique perspective to this work. I understand the importance of the right medical care, but I also understand how overwhelming it can feel when you are searching for answers, navigating your health, or simply trying to find someone who will listen without judgment. My experiences inspired me to become more intentional about women’s health education and to create a brand that encourages women to become informed, advocate for themselves, and prioritize their well-being and to take back ownership of our health and bodies.
Healing And Restore offers intimate wellness products, including yoni gels, yoni oils, yoni steams along with doula services that support families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Through these offerings, my goal is to create a more comprehensive approach to women’s wellness that combines education, self-care, compassionate support, and community. I want women to know that wellness is not one-size-fits-all and that they deserve to make informed decisions about their bodies and the care they receive.
What sets Healing And Restore apart is the heart and intention behind the brand we let God lead us on everything. We aren’t simply selling products or providing services; I am building a safe space, real results, understanding, education, and empowerment. I want our community to feel comfortable asking questions, learning about their bodies, exploring self-care, and having conversations that are sometimes overlooked or considered uncomfortable.
Brand-wise, I am most proud of turning one of the most difficult seasons of my life into something that can positively impact other women. I am proud that Healing And Restore represents resilience, faith, and the courage to pursue a purpose bigger than myself. I want women to see that they do not have to be ashamed of their health struggles, that advocating for themselves matters, and that they deserve care, compassion, and access to knowledge.
Ultimately, I want readers to understand that Healing And Restore is about more than intimate wellness or doula care. It is about all things womanhood and helping women feel more connected to themselves, more confident in advocating for their health, and more supported through the different seasons of womanhood. My vision is to continue growing Healing And Restore into a trusted wellness brand and community that serves women from all walks of life, and doing my kingdom work.

What are your plans for the future?
We recently opened our physical location on May 12, 2026, giving our clients a dedicated space to access our products, services, and wellness resources. We are excited to continue growing our Wine Down Wednesdays, where women can take a break from their everyday titles and responsibilities, enjoy girl time, discuss meaningful topics, and learn ways to navigate the many changes and seasons of life together.
We are also looking forward to expanding the reach of our products, hearing more customer success and relief stories, and providing doula services to more families, including those who need travel support, and to work with more brands to spread the awareness of maternal health and women’s health.
