Hi Knikki, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve been in education for 20+ years and have always strived to better myself academically, personally, and professionally. The goal for me has always been to make strides in every aspect of my life so that students can receive the best version of me that I’m capable of giving. As a student, though, I was a late bloomer. It took me some time to get the hang of school and education. I wasn’t fully comprehending the significance of what I was learning, and I certainly didn’t know who I was or what my mission in life could actually be.
It took a long time–almost 20 years to figure that out! Today, I’ve been successfully teaching in a public school for 14 years, running an outlier tutoring business, and now developing my own school. Figuring out what those things look like on a daily basis keeps me busy, but everything I do is because of the love that I have for people, my clients, and God.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I can’t imagine any entrepreneur saying that their journey was a smooth one. It never is. There are so many ups and downs, so many mistakes, so many failures that when I look back, I’m often awe-struck at what a human being can truly endure if they’re truly committed to their goals.
The struggle that I had right from the get-go was self-worth. I wanted–no craved–validation from people. Anything that would make me feel important, I yearned for. And when you’re like that, you’re never satisfied. There is never enough praise, enough sales, or enough validation that can fill that void you’ve created for yourself emotionally. I had to completely revamp my self-image if I wanted to align with this new life I created.
The question for me was never whether I had the skills to do what I do. That was a given. The question was whether I would ever see myself as worthy of success. Thanks to the training in the Global Information Network (https://globalinformationnetwork.com/?ref=mx9ncm) and Your Wish is Your Command (https://freeyourwish.kevintrudeau.com/?ref=mx9ncm), I was able to successfully transform my self-image to become the leader and woman I always was but didn’t connect with until now.
It also helps that I’m not afraid to look stupid, take a risk, or be criticized. The only approval I need is from myself and God.

My business was born from the effects of the public education system on school children. Many students, including seniors, are so behind in their reading, writing, math, and communication skills that they’re actually unable to graduate college, hold a job, or start a business. My personal issue was always self-image, but imagine if it was both–your work skills AND your self concept. You’d really be in a pickle.
The good news is that all of this is very fixable. I specialize in reading, writing, memory, and communication, so for the right student, I’m a great fit because I know what it’s like to be a late bloomer, but I also have the compassion and teaching ability to help that person re-start their engine so that they can actually achieve their goals. In terms of what sets me apart, I wouldn’t say anything in particular. I just believe that ‘when the student is ready, the right teacher will appear’. If that’s me, awesome. If not, that’s cool, too, because God never misses. Whomever (or whatever) that teacher is for that specific person, it’s the perfect fit for them, and I fully support that. No one is for everyone, but I am the perfect fit for the ones that I’ve been chosen for. Whether that’s for a short period of time or over the long-term, I’m 100% committed to that person and their growth in all aspects of their lives.

Being able to do what I love while helping parents, educators, and students is one of the best parts about my career path.
