Community Highlights: Meet Paris Munn of Paris Munn Real Estate | 1st Class Real Estate Flagship

Today we’d like to introduce you to Paris Munn.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve actually been interested in real estate for a long time. I’ve always loved homes, architecture, and interior design, and I remember thinking about getting my real estate license years ago when we were living on Guam. At the time, though, the timing just wasn’t right. My kids were still young, and ultimately I waited until they were all school age before I finally decided to go for it.

Once I did, I went all in. I’ve always been very independent and driven, and when I decide I want something, I tend to figure out how to make it happen. Real estate has been a really natural fit for me because I love working with people, I love problem solving, and I’m definitely competitive. I also really enjoy negotiating.

I joined 1st Class Real Estate Flagship in 2025, and that’s when things really started taking off for me. I’ve been fortunate to work with so many different people, from first time homebuyers and military families to investors and repeat buyers. No two transactions are ever the same, and I’m constantly learning something new.

One thing that has been really important to me from the beginning is being the kind of agent who will actually tell my clients what I think. I don’t want someone buying a house simply because I want to make a sale. If I think they’re overpaying, I’ll tell them. If I see something that concerns me, I’ll tell them that too. Sometimes my job is helping someone buy a house, and sometimes my job is talking them out of the wrong one.

My business has grown much faster than I expected, and I’m incredibly proud of what I’ve built so far. At the same time, I still feel like I’m just getting started. I have some pretty big goals for myself, and if there’s one thing I know about me, it’s that once I set my mind on something, I’m going to find a way to get there.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
In terms of my business growth, things have actually been pretty smooth since I made the move to 1st Class Real Estate Flagship. Before that, my first brokerage simply wasn’t the right fit for me. I was brand new to the industry and had to figure out pretty quickly what I needed in a brokerage and what kind of environment I wanted to build my business in. Making that change was a turning point for me, and once I found the right fit, my business really started to grow.

Life itself, though, is definitely not always smooth. I’m raising three kids, we have a house full of animals, and my husband is active duty military, so his schedule can be unpredictable and there are times when I’m essentially handling everything at home while also running a growing real estate business. Real estate doesn’t exactly stick to business hours either, so there is a lot of juggling involved.

I’ve had to become very intentional with my time and learn how to shift gears quickly between being a mom, a military spouse, and a Realtor. Some days are organized and everything falls into place, and other days I’m answering client calls while coordinating kids, animals, appointments, and whatever unexpected thing has been thrown into the mix that day.

I’m extremely proud of how quickly my business has grown, but I wouldn’t say I’m surprised by what I’ve been able to accomplish. I’ve always known that I’m capable of this and more. I work hard, I’m persistent, and I set high expectations for myself. The challenge for me hasn’t been wondering whether I can do it. It’s learning how to successfully manage everything that comes along with doing it.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My business is built around making real estate feel a lot less intimidating and a lot more personal. I work with buyers, sellers, investors, military families, first time buyers, and people who simply need someone in their corner who is going to be straightforward with them. I serve Hampton Roads and surrounding areas, and I am with First Class Real Estate Flagship.

I think what sets me apart is that I am very hands on and very honest with my clients. I am not interested in talking someone into a house just to make a sale. I will run the numbers, look at the comparable properties, point out concerns, ask questions, negotiate hard, and tell my clients when I think they should walk away. I want them to understand what they are buying and why we are making the decisions we are making. I am also extremely responsive, and I take a lot of pride in making sure my clients never feel like they are being left in the dark.

Brand wise, I am probably most proud that my business still feels like me. Professional, knowledgeable, hardworking, but also very human. Real estate is a serious financial decision, but that does not mean the experience has to feel cold or corporate. My brand, Paris Munn Real Estate, is really about being someone people can trust to advocate for them, educate them, and help them get from dreaming about a home to actually holding the keys.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
The easiest way to work with me is simply to reach out. Whether you are thinking about buying, selling, investing, relocating, or you are not quite sure where to start yet, I am always happy to have a conversation and help you figure out the next step.

I also love building relationships with other professionals in the industry. Lenders, contractors, inspectors, attorneys, other agents, and local businesses all play a part in what I do, so I am always open to making new connections and finding ways to work together.

And truly, one of the biggest ways people can support my business is through referrals. Real estate is such a relationship based business, and there is no bigger compliment than someone trusting me enough to send a friend, family member, coworker, or neighbor my way.
