Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Bowser.
Hi Brittany, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have always had the heart of an entrepreneur, and I remember having conversations with my mother about eventually freeing myself from corporate life. I believe it is through trial and error that most entrepreneurs finally find their true passion and what they feel called to do. Over the years, I have dabbled in being a Brand Ambassador selling health and wellness products, selling life insurance, digital marketing, gig work, and most recently, building my brand around content creation.
After the passing of my mother in 2021, my perspective shifted deeply regarding what I truly wanted out of life and where I would end up if I remained on my current path. Although my husband and I are still actively working 9-to-5 jobs, we use our free time to explore, make memories, and create engaging content for our growing audience! We are firm believers that as long as you continue moving in the right direction with the right intentions, success is inevitable.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It certainly has not been a smooth road, to say the least. My husband and I have suffered several losses behind the scenes—things only a few people know about, and in some cases, no one but God knows the true depth of what we have endured. Navigating grief, moving to a new state, transitioning career paths… you name it. Through it all, we have leaned heavily on one another, knowing deep down that there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
For the last decade, I have grown my career in security services after transitioning out of the mental health field as an outpatient therapist. I have found a level of joy here that allows me to grow professionally while presenting new challenges each day that keep the job interesting and ever-evolving.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love the Southern hospitality and the fact that the city has continued to expand over the years, bringing new opportunities to the area. However, compared to my new home in Northern Virginia, there isn’t nearly as much to do if you’re looking to try new experiences and make lasting memories.
