Today we’d like to introduce you to Coach Miller.
Hi Coach, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I grew up in Richmond Virginia and was a youth athlete and champion. I graduated Radford University in Political Science, Public Administration, Psychology, and International Studies. My career in state government, non profit small business support, and economic development.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Life is balanced. There are as many ups as downs. While I have overcome many obstacles and setbacks, I envision at the end of my life, my ledger will be balanced, and I will see some of the highs I expect on the remainder of my journey.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am Executive Director of the The Downtown Ashland Association and we are a Main Street America organization. We do economic and community development amongst other things including project management and historic preservation.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love the people of Ashland. I least like that everybody hasn’t experience our Town.
