Hi Chase, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Bronzed Dolls was born from a very personal experience. After visiting other spray tanning businesses, I sometimes left feeling uncomfortable and judged rather than confident. Spray tanning is such a personal service, and I realized that if I had ever felt that way, there were probably many other people who had felt the same.
That experience inspired me to create something different. I wanted Bronzed Dolls to be more than just a place to get a spray tan. I wanted to create a safe, welcoming, judgment-free space where everyone feels comfortable, respected, and confident in their own skin. No matter your age, gender, body type, skin tone, or background, when you walk through my doors, you are welcome.
Building Bronzed Dolls has taken a tremendous amount of hard work, dedication, and constant learning. I have continued to educate myself, improve my techniques, invest in my business, and listen to my clients so I can give each person an experience that is customized specifically for them. For me, it’s never been about simply applying a tan—it’s about how someone feels when they leave.
One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been watching clients walk in feeling nervous or self-conscious and leave smiling, feeling beautiful and confident. Creating that feeling for someone is what reminds me why I started.
I am incredibly proud of how far Bronzed Dolls has come, but I still feel like this is only the beginning. I continue to work every day to grow the brand, improve the client experience, and turn Bronzed Dolls into the powerhouse I know it can be—all while staying true to the reason I started: creating a place where everyone is welcome, nobody is judged, and confidence is for everybody.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely has not always been a smooth road. Building Bronzed Dolls has required a lot of hard work, patience, sacrifice, and learning along the way. One of my biggest challenges was starting a business and building a name for myself in an industry where there are already so many options. I knew that if I wanted to succeed, I couldn’t simply offer another spray tan—I had to create an experience that made people want to come back.
There have been times when I questioned myself, made mistakes, invested in things that didn’t work out, and had to completely change direction. I’ve had to teach myself not only the art of spray tanning, but also the business side—marketing, social media, customer service, booking systems, products, equipment, and everything else that comes with running a business.
Another challenge has been overcoming people’s assumptions about who a spray tan is for and creating an environment where clients truly feel comfortable. Because Bronzed Dolls was built around being judgment-free, I take that responsibility seriously. Every client who trusts me with their body and their insecurities reminds me why that mission matters.
The challenges have actually pushed me to work harder. Instead of allowing setbacks to stop me, I try to learn from them and come back better. I am constantly educating myself, improving my services, and finding new ways to give my clients the best possible experience.
I’m proud that I didn’t give up when things were difficult. Every obstacle has helped shape Bronzed Dolls into what it is today, and I believe those challenges are also preparing me for where I want to take the business next. My goal isn’t just to have a successful spray tanning business—it’s to build a brand that people recognize for confidence, inclusivity, quality, and making everyone feel welcome.

Every client is different, so I take into consideration their skin tone, undertones, desired depth of color, and the occasion they are tanning for to create a result specifically for them.

I offer both in-studio and mobile spray tanning, allowing me to bring the full Bronzed Dolls experience directly to clients who may not be able to come to the studio. I also offer different services and customized options depending on a client’s lifestyle, event, and individual tanning goals.
