Community Highlights: Meet Chelsea Williamson & Paige Becker of Milk & Honey Events

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chelsea Williamson & Paige Becker.

Hi Chelsea Williamson &, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Milk & Honey Events was born from a shared passion between sisters, Paige & Chelsea, for bringing people together and creating meaningful experiences. After planning our own weddings (Paige in 2022, Chelsea in 2024) we both saw how much detail and effort goes into planning, as well as how confusing the industry can be to navigate without direction. For years, we both worked in the industry with other planners where we learned the art of design, how to communicate and work with different vendors, and what all goes into planning and executing a wedding day with ease, precision, and peace.

In the summer of 2025, doors opened for both of us and we found ourselves saying “if we don’t do it now, we never will”. And thus, Milk & Honey Events came to be. We officially launched in October of 2025 and have been blow away by the amount of support we have received. We are so thankful for the amazing couples who have chosen to work with us, the vendors that have supported and helped behind the scenes and on the wedding days, and our amazing day-of assistants who, without, we would not be able to do all of this.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has been incredibly smooth so far. As any entrepreneur knows, there will always be areas where we don’t know what we’re doing (yet). But each day we work together to figure out this new business and build it from the ground up. We were raised with an incredible work ethic, and taught to work hard and never give up when presented with a challenge, which has served us well as we navigate working in a highly saturated area. We are thankful that there truly is a client for everyone, and we have loved connecting with other planners and industry vendors to help or lean on when we have questions.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Milk & Honey Events?
We are event planners who specialize in luxury weddings in DC/Virginia/Maryland and beyond. We pride ourselves on the relational aspect of our events, making our clients and their guests feel like our own family. We try to stay true to our roots while dreaming big. No task is too big or too small for us to tackle. We want to learn each couple’s unique vision for their day and help them execute it in a way that allows them to stay present and enjoy the moment knowing that everything is being taken care of.

We offer everything from full-service planning to wedding coordination. We want to work with couples to create a package that best fits their needs, because weddings are not one-size-fits-all. We love having a hand in helping to design weddings, but also love getting to run logistics, keep things on time, and work with the vendor team to produce a flawless wedding day.

We bring warmth, laughter, and a little bit of magic to every step, so our couples can feel fully present and stress-free, knowing we’ve got them covered.
