Hi Charday, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Charday Jones is a devoted wife, mother of four, author, faith-based entrepreneur, and aspiring international public speaker whose life is rooted in faith, family, and purpose. She considers her family her first ministry and is passionate about encouraging others to deepen their relationship with God and boldly walk in the purpose He has placed on their lives.
Charday is the author of devotional prayer journals created to help others become more intentional in their time with God through prayer, reflection, Scripture, and personal growth. She continues to write and share from her own experiences of faith, perseverance, healing, surrender, and trusting God through every season.
She is the founder of the faith-based apparel brand “I Am Here Making A Way,” inspired by Isaiah 43:19, a reminder that even when we cannot see what God is doing, He is always working and making a way.
With a heart for prayer and ministry, Charday is the co-founder and now host of “Intentional Time with God,” a 4:00 AM prayer call held via Zoom Monday through Friday. This sacred time brings believers together to intentionally seek God through prayer, Scripture, intercession, encouragement, and surrender before beginning their day. Through “Intentional Time with God,” Charday desires to create an atmosphere where people can grow deeper in their relationship with God, strengthen their prayer lives, and begin each day in His presence.
Charday also uses her platforms on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook under “I Am Here Making A Way” to share prayers, devotionals, encouragement, and the Word of God. Her desire is not simply to inspire others, but to point people back to Christ and remind them of who God has called them to be.
As she continues to grow in ministry, leadership, writing, and public speaking, Charday desires to use her testimony and her voice to reach people across cultures and nations. Her mission is simple: to be a willing vessel, glorify God through her life, and help others recognize that with God, there is always a way.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Based on what you’ve shared with me about your journey, I would answer this in a way that is vulnerable but still shows your faith, growth, and resilience:
It has definitely not been a smooth road. I have faced seasons of loss, disappointment, rejection, uncertainty, and moments when I questioned what God was doing in my life. I’ve had to navigate the responsibilities of being a wife and mother of four while building my career, pursuing entrepreneurship, growing in ministry, and discovering who I am outside of the many roles I carry.
One of my greatest challenges has been learning not to allow setbacks, closed doors, or the opinions of others to determine my worth or my future. I’ve had seasons where things did not happen when or how I expected, but those experiences taught me perseverance, discipline, surrender, and the importance of trusting God’s timing.
I have also learned that growth sometimes requires letting go—of relationships, habits, environments, and even versions of myself that no longer align with where God is taking me. My journey has required healing, accountability, and the courage to start again.
Through every challenge, my faith has remained my foundation. I’ve learned that obstacles do not necessarily mean I’m on the wrong path; sometimes they are the very things God uses to develop my character and prepare me for what is next. My story isn’t one of a perfect journey—it’s a story of faith, resilience, transformation, and continuing to say yes to God even when I cannot see the entire road ahead.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
For this one, I’d highlight your healthcare/dental leadership experience, sales and operations success, and your ability to develop people—while still connecting it to your faith and purpose.
I have spent more than 17 years in the medical and dental field, with much of my career focused on leadership, operations, patient care, sales, and team development. Today, I serve as a General Manager for ClearChoice Dental Implant Center, where I lead both the operational and business sides of the practice.
What I am most proud of is my ability to walk into challenging environments and help create change. I am passionate about developing people, strengthening culture, improving systems, and helping teams recognize what they are capable of accomplishing together. I believe leadership is about more than numbers—it is about people. When people feel supported, challenged, valued, and held accountable, the results follow.
I also have a strong background in sales and relationship building. I love connecting with people, understanding their needs, and helping them move forward with confidence. Some of my proudest professional moments have come from watching a team that once struggled begin to believe in themselves and achieve goals they did not think were possible.
What sets me apart is that I lead with both heart and accountability. I am not afraid of hard work, difficult conversations, or starting over when something is not working. My faith also influences the way I lead. I believe every position I am given is an opportunity to serve, develop others, and leave an environment better than I found it.
Beyond my professional career, I am an author, faith-based entrepreneur, co-founder and current host of the “Intentional Time with God” 4:00 AM prayer call, and an aspiring international public speaker. Ultimately, whether I am leading a business, speaking, writing, or praying with others, my passion is the same: helping people grow, recognize their potential, and become who they were created to be.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
I understand exactly what you’re trying to say. I’d make it sound polished but still personal and faith-centered:
My advice for finding a mentor and building a strong network is to intentionally surround yourself with like-minded people who inspire you, challenge you, and encourage you to grow. Don’t be afraid to reach out, introduce yourself, build genuine relationships, and ask for guidance from people who are already walking in areas you aspire to reach.
Personally, connecting with women of faith has been especially important to me. I value having people in my life who not only encourage and inspire me, but who will also pray with me, pour into me, challenge me, and hold me accountable.
I also believe mentorship should not be based solely on someone’s title or accomplishments. I pay attention to their character, integrity, faith, consistency, and how they treat others. I want to learn from people whose lives reflect qualities I desire to develop in my own.
Networking has taught me that relationships are not just about what someone can do for you. Be willing to pour into others as you are being poured into. Some of the most meaningful connections happen when you show up authentically, support others, remain teachable, and allow relationships to develop naturally.
Ultimately, I believe in praying for God to connect me with the right people, mentors, friends, and destiny helpers who are aligned with where He is taking me.
