Today we’d like to introduce you to Darryl Bourgeois.
Hi Darryl, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I was born & raised in South Jersey. The love of music & life began at an early age but the djing bug bit me at 11 years old. My older brother Derek introduced me to it & forever thankful for that! We would go over to Philly to buy “Viny Records” & rush back home to play them, mix them & attempt to cut & scratch them! Vinyl is old school but never forgotten & recently I released a Vinyl Album called “Juste Moi” through “ElasticStage.com”. Check it out! Let me bounce back some to “2018” where I began my DJ Company “Bourgeois Entertainment LLC. My Mobile DJ Company was a learning curve because everything is “digital” no turntables or vinly. I had to learn quick in order to land gigs! 2020 hit us and the gigs became zero which began a wave of “Live Djing” on social platforms & that helped me practice my craft but also to start my own Radio Station called YURRRP RADIO & love to my brother Derek for that as well. The station is doing well & running 24/7 worldwide and it plays all genres set up by me soooo if you don’t like the music just blame me, lol! Love to my resident djs & my podcast hosts BZ Reyes & King Samson. I’m also a House Music Producer & have tons of music on all platforms. I’m part of a team called “Rooted Sounds House Music” with BZ Reyes & 804 DEEP. Check out our music. I’m a Pro DJ who traveled the seas as a DJ for Carnival Cruise Lines but gave it up because of the love for my wife! I’m the Party Starter who loves what he does & when you do it never feels like work!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Learning back in 2018 on the digital way of djing instead of turn tables. Purchasing Numark Ns7iii & The Rane 12’s helped me a lot because of their motorized platters!

Being a House Music Producer is what I’m stoked about the most! Being a DJ to me is easy peazy! I read the crowd & get the party started but to “create” your owm music isn’t as simple. I’ve been a producer for 4 years now and have plenty of music plus music videos. Search me and jam to my music! What sets me apart from others is my “passion” & love for music plus life!
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Taking the risk of being a music producer. Big love to my good friend Terry S. for motivating me & giving me the courage to pursue it! I’ve thought about being a producer but afraid because it was something I’ve never done & something that others could hate! So I didn’t have the nerve to do it at first until Terry talked to me. I now can’t imagine not producing “House Music”.
