Today we’d like to introduce you to Demetric Williams.
Demetric, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started singing when I was about 11 years old. I first discovered that I had a talent in the 6th grade where I took part of my middle school choir. Landing a Solo part increased my confidence and gave me the feeling I wanted to see how far I could grow in this space. I have always had a strong passion for music. I started developing my voice, stretching my limits as I got older. I was about 18 years old when I knew I wanted to take music serious. I started doing shows in the surrounding cities as I slowly started to grow my network. Today I am a CEO and Founder of the independent record label “Humble Savage Life”. A brand that takes pride in its independence and integrity.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road to get where I am now has not been the smoothest. I have had to withstand many bumps in road as a Business Owner and Artist. Raising the capital to keep the machine moving has been the ruffest part for me. Once I started “Humble Savage Life” in 2024 I knkw I would need the funds in order to opperate successfully. I had a lot of learning to do in order to position myself to be fundable by banks. Some of these hurdles were fixing my Personal Credit as well as establishing a strong business portfolio. I am still in this journey but each month brings me closer to my financial goals.

One thing I’m proudest of in my career is how I am taking control to mold my vision into reality. Taking responsibility and ownership of my future has allowed me to live more free of stress. I am also proud of the sound that I have curated over the years. I can confidently say that my sound is a one of a kind.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I am a bit of a gamer. My favorite game title are the Final Fantasy games which most people would never guess been looking at me
