Today we’d like to introduce you to Diamond Kut.
Hi Diamond, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey has been shaped by resilience, purpose, and the determination to create a better future for my son and myself. Everything changed when my son’s father passed away. In the midst of grief, I made a promise to myself that I would do everything in my power to ensure our son knew he was loved, supported, and had every opportunity to succeed.
Becoming a single mother forced me to grow in ways I never imagined. I balanced work, school, entrepreneurship, and motherhood while learning that success isn’t about having an easy path—it’s about refusing to give up when the path is difficult. Every setback became motivation to keep moving forward.
Today, I’m a college student pursuing a degree in sports management, the owner of Unkut Elite Sports Group LLC, the creator of Unkut Meals, and the voice behind Behind the QB Mom. My businesses and platform were built from a desire to serve others while creating a legacy for my son. Supporting his journey as a quarterback has shown me the importance of preparation, discipline, and showing up every single day—not just for him, but for myself.
Everything I do is rooted in one goal: being the best mother I can be while building a life that proves difficult circumstances don’t define your future. My story isn’t about tragedy—it’s about choosing purpose over pain, turning adversity into opportunity, and creating a legacy that my son can be proud of.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road to where I am today has been anything but easy. Losing my son’s father changed my life forever and forced me to navigate grief while learning how to raise our son on my own. There were moments of emotional, financial, and spiritual hardship when I questioned whether I was doing enough or making the right choices.
I faced the pressure of balancing work, school, motherhood, and entrepreneurship, often carrying responsibilities that felt overwhelming. I experienced setbacks, changed directions, made mistakes, and learned difficult lessons while searching for a path that aligned with my purpose. There were also seasons when my relationship with God wasn’t as strong as I wanted it to be, but those moments ultimately deepened my faith and taught me to trust His timing.
Those struggles didn’t define me—they refined me. They strengthened my resilience, clarified my purpose, and reminded me that growth often comes through adversity. Every challenge has helped shape the woman, mother, and entrepreneur I continue to become.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I currently am building relationships with athletes and coaches, Branching off into my meal prep business while having a son who is navigating through college recruitment is helping me to meet a lot of people along the way helping me to build reporum.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I don’t put anything on luck, I honestly say that GOD just saw my dedication, my struggle, persistence and he has blessed me along the way.
