Today we’d like to introduce you to Natasha Colon Moreno.
Hi Natasha, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and after graduating high school in 2017, I pursued my passion for volleyball, playing at the junior college and NCAA levels in Kansas and North Carolina. In 2021, I moved to Virginia, where I worked in different industries, including childcare and recruiting, taking on roles in reception, HR, and recruiting.
Although I was building my career, I still felt like I was searching for my purpose. In 2023, I moved back to Puerto Rico and began exploring spirituality, becoming a certified Reiki healer and growing a TikTok community of over 10,000 followers through angel card readings. But eventually, my journey took a different turn when I found my way to Jesus. I started attending church and made the decision to let go of everything that no longer aligned with Him and the purpose He had for my life.
In 2024, I got married, and in 2025, my husband and I were baptized. During this season, I also graduated as a graphic designer and began taking content creation seriously. What started as a creative passion has grown into an opportunity to collaborate with local restaurants and major brands, combining my love for storytelling, design, and connecting with people.
Today, I’m a bilingual content creator and graphic designer based in Norfolk, Virginia. My goal is to use the gifts God has given me to glorify Him through my work while helping local businesses grow and connect with the Spanish-speaking community in the 757. I believe my journey, including every detour, has shaped me for the work I’m doing today, and I’m excited to keep building something meaningful with faith at the center of it all.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road. My parents divorced when I was just 2, and I grew up mostly with my grandparents. I moved to the U.S. on my own, searching for purpose and believing I had found it in the wrong places. I struggled with marijuana and nicotine addiction, but Jesus rescued me, transformed my life, and gave me a purpose worth living for. Today, I want everything I do to glorify Him.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a bilingual content creator, graphic designer, and social media manager based in Norfolk, Virginia. I specialize in lifestyle, food, and travel content, helping businesses tell their stories and connect with both English- and Spanish-speaking audiences, especially within the 757 community.
I’m most proud of turning my creativity into a purpose-driven business while keeping my faith at the center of everything I do. What sets me apart is my ability to create relatable, high-quality content in both English and Spanish, connect authentically with my audience, and combine my skills in content creation, design, and marketing to help brands grow. My goal is not just to create content, but to build meaningful connections and use my gifts to glorify God.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my favorite childhood memories was being recognized as one of the most valuable jump rope players in Puerto Rico during elementary school! It’s a memory that always makes me smile and reminds me of how much I loved being active and competitive as a kid.
