Today we’d like to introduce you to Nyteisha Nicole Stith.
Nyteisha Nicole, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey has been one of faith, perseverance, and transformation. As a single mother raising two incredible daughters, I have experienced seasons of hardship, personal loss, and uncertainty that challenged me emotionally, spiritually, and financially. Those experiences did not define me; they refined me and became the foundation of my purpose.
I began my career serving individuals and families experiencing housing instability, where I discovered my passion for helping others navigate life’s most difficult seasons. Over the years, I have grown into roles as a social worker, housing professional, community leader, minister, speaker, and founder of Thrive Studios LLC. Throughout this journey, I have balanced working full-time, raising my daughters, serving in ministry, leading in my community, and pursuing higher education because I believe growth never stops.
Today, I am completing my Bachelor of Science in Social Work, Graduating in August 2026, preparing to pursue my Master of Social Work, and working toward becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a specialization in trauma and healing. My mission is to empower women and families to dig deeper into self-discovery and to move from surviving to thriving through faith, practical support, advocacy, and emotional wellness.
My story is rooted in **Isaiah 61:3**, where God promises to give us **”beauty for ashes.”** Every challenge, sacrifice, and setback has become part of a greater testimony. What once felt like ashes has been transformed into purpose. Today, I have the privilege of helping others discover hope, healing, and the courage to believe that their story is still being written. I don’t see my life as a story of success; I see it as a testimony of God’s faithfulness and His ability to create beauty from our broken places.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it has not been a smooth road, but I have learned to embrace my journey because every season has shaped who I am today.
As a single mother raising two daughters, I have experienced seasons of hardship, grief, financial uncertainty, and moments of questioning what was next. Balancing work, parenting, school, ministry, and caring for myself often felt overwhelming. There were times when I had to choose perseverance over comfort and faith over fear.
One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned is that transformation begins with reflection, and reflection requires self-awareness. Earlier this year, I attended an encounter retreat in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, hosted by Visionaries Tiffany James and Debbie Howard, “You Belong in the Room.” I arrived expecting rest. I came simply to breathe, and God met me there. During that EXCHANGE, He reminded me that **I AM** already established in who He created me to be. I didn’t have to strive for my identity or prove my worth. That experience was life-changing. It felt as though a weight I had been carrying for years was lifted, allowing me to walk forward with greater confidence, clarity, and peace.
Professionally, building credibility while pursuing higher education required sacrifice. I worked full-time while earning my degree, often studying late into the night after caring for my family. Personally, I have walked through disappointment, healing, and seasons of rebuilding, learning that resilience isn’t about avoiding difficult seasons; it’s about continuing to move forward through them.
Today, I embrace every part of my story because it has strengthened my compassion, deepened my faith, and allows me to connect authentically with the women and families I serve. My journey is rooted in **Isaiah 61:3**, where God promises to give us **”beauty for ashes.”** The ashes represent every challenge, sacrifice, and setback, while the beauty reflects God’s faithfulness in transforming those experiences into purpose. I don’t hide my story, I embrace it because it reminds others that healing is possible, restoration is real, and our greatest challenges can become our greatest testimony.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a social worker, housing professional, community leader, minister, speaker, and the founder of Thrive Studios LLC. My work is dedicated to empowering women and families to move from surviving to thriving through faith, healing, personal development, advocacy, and practical support. I specialize in trauma-informed care, housing stability, emotional wellness, and helping individuals rediscover their identity, purpose, and resilience.
Beyond my direct work with clients, I actively serve my community through leadership roles, including serving as the **Chair of the Housing Advisory Board** and contributing to several local boards and committees focused on housing, family stability, and community development. I am passionate about creating meaningful change by connecting people with resources, building collaborative partnerships, and developing programs that strengthen individuals, families, and communities.
My mission is simple: to educate, equip, and empower others while helping them recognize that healing is possible, hope is real, and they have the ability to build a life filled with purpose and possibility. SELF-DISCOVERY!
I am known for creating safe spaces where people feel seen, heard, and empowered to take their next step. Whether through case management, ministry, workshops, or public speaking, I combine compassion with accountability to help individuals build lasting change. My approach integrates faith, evidence-based practices, and real-life strategies that promote healing, resilience, and independence.
I am most proud of the journey that brought me here. Despite personal hardships, loss, and many obstacles, I remained committed to my calling to serve others. As a single mother, I have balanced raising my daughters, working full-time, completing my bachelor’s degree in social work, serving in ministry, and building a vision that will impact generations of women. Every milestone represents perseverance, faith, and God’s grace.
I believe I am more than my résumé; I am a mural on the wall. Every experience, challenge, success, and season has become part of a larger masterpiece. My lived experiences allow me to connect with people authentically, while my professional training equips me to guide them effectively. I don’t simply teach healing; I have walked through it. I don’t only advocate for hope, I live it. My mission is to help others recognize that their story, too, can become a masterpiece.
How do you think about luck?
I don’t believe my life has been shaped by luck. I believe it has been shaped by God’s divine purpose, favor, and grace. While I’ve experienced seasons of hardship, loss, disappointment, and uncertainty, I don’t see them as bad luck. Instead, I believe God has used every challenge to refine me, strengthen my faith, and prepare me for the work He has called me to do.
Likewise, the opportunities I’ve received from serving my community and advancing my education to ministry, leadership, and entrepreneurship are not things I attribute to luck. They are the result of God’s favor, perseverance, faithful obedience, and a willingness to walk through every door He has opened.
The Scripture that best reflects my journey is Isaiah 61:3, where God promises to give us “beauty for ashes.” My life is a testimony of that promise. The ashes represent the hardships, sacrifices, and seasons that could have defined me. Instead, God has transformed those experiences into purpose, healing, leadership, creativity, and hope not only for me but for the women, families, and communities I now have the privilege to serve.
Through Thrive Studios, I use spoken word, retreats, workshops, and women-centered spaces to bring women together through biblical principles, practical tools, and authenticity. My heart is to create spaces where women can breathe, reflect, heal, and remember who God created them to be. As we look toward 2027, Thrive Studios is preparing to open more spaces and receive requests to bring these tools directly to organizations, ministries, women’s groups, and communities.
I don’t believe success happens by chance. I believe it comes from trusting God’s timing, remaining faithful through every season, and allowing Him to transform our ashes into something beautiful that can inspire and restore others.
