Today we’d like to introduce you to Megan Hughes.

Hi Megan, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am from Texas, and I started my photography business when I got married 5 years ago. I wanted to capture the special moments of people. I grew up in front of a camera and the creative aspect of life. and capturing the moments of life, with my husband job moving us, I needed to find s creative outlet. I have a creative outlet and I see things more in a creative way.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been and adjustment for sure, I have lovely vendor friends in kc and now in Virginia.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a photographer, I love capturing life.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
finding people in that same field as you are, you will find good people out of it.
