Hi Rick, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
When I started Adept Motions, I was bartending and serving full time. I was tired of working in the cooperate world and decided to start our digital marketing agency. I had 2 business partners at that time we launched that I have since bought out. The only problem is that one of the business partners I bought out was supposed to teach me all the right practices for success because I really had no clue what I was doing.
Well, since we were no longer business partners he would not be able to teach and guide me like I had originally planned. I honestly did not know what to do but to turn to God. I gave it all to my Lord and Savior and he begin to guide me and teach me all the things I needed to know for success.
Before I knew it, I went from being practically computer illiterate to building optimized websites and managing social media accounts with much success.
To this day I still rely on God to guide me in the daily growth and success of our company and to this day he has never let me down!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Of course it has not been a smooth road. But in all honesty, a smooth road cannot lead to true success. The trials and hard times we go through teach us patience, and patience delivers knowledge. The more knowledge we obtain the more successful we will be in life and business. I am a true believer that a person cannot truly be successful without failure.
Our failures are and always will be our biggest key to success!
