Exploring Life & Business with Spencer Stewart of Evolv Sports Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Spencer Stewart.

Spencer, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey has always been rooted in creativity, entrepreneurship, and a desire to build things that have a lasting impact. I’ve always been someone who sees potential in ideas, people, and brands, and over time, I’ve learned how to turn that vision into something tangible.

I started by immersing myself in entertainment, nightlife, and event production, working across Los Angeles, Dallas, Atlanta, and the DMV. Those experiences gave me the opportunity to connect with artists, influencers, athletes, and entrepreneurs while learning the business side of culture, marketing, and relationship-building. I went on to help produce more than 100 events and develop strategies for brands and creatives looking to grow their presence.

As my experience grew, so did my interest in building businesses of my own. I became involved in several ventures, including NeoCurly, Antè & Co., and Evolv Sports Group. Each has allowed me to explore a different side of entrepreneurship, from beauty and consumer products to brand development and youth athletic development. Through those experiences, I’ve learned that building a business takes more than having a great idea. It requires resilience, adaptability, strategic thinking, and the willingness to keep going when things don’t work out as planned.

One of the most meaningful parts of my journey has been working with young athletes through Evolv Sports Group. It has allowed me to combine my business experience with my desire to create opportunities for the next generation. For me, entrepreneurship isn’t just about generating revenue; it’s also about building something that creates value for other people and leaves a positive impact on the community.

Today, I continue to grow at the intersection of business, culture, creativity, and community. My path hasn’t been perfectly linear, but every experience has taught me something different about leadership, ownership, and what it takes to turn a vision into reality. I’m still learning, evolving, and building, and I’m excited about what comes next. Ultimately, I want my work to reflect who I am, what I believe in, and the kind of legacy I hope to leave behind.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges has been learning how to navigate entrepreneurship while balancing limited resources, uncertainty, and the pressure of trying to turn a vision into something sustainable. When you’re building something from the ground up, you don’t always have the funding, connections, or support system you need, so you have to learn how to be resourceful, adapt quickly, and make difficult decisions.

I’ve experienced the highs of seeing an idea come to life and the lows of realizing that passion alone isn’t enough to make a business successful. There have been setbacks, unexpected obstacles, and moments when I’ve had to reevaluate my approach and figure out how to keep moving forward. Building businesses across different industries has taught me that every opportunity comes with its own learning curve, and sometimes growth means accepting that something isn’t working and being willing to pivot.

Another challenge has been balancing all the different sides of who I am creatively and professionally. I’ve always had multiple interests and ideas, and learning how to prioritize them, stay focused, and turn my energy into measurable results has been an ongoing process.

Through it all, I’ve learned resilience, patience, and the importance of believing in yourself even when the results aren’t immediate. I’ve come to understand that setbacks don’t necessarily mean you’re on the wrong path; sometimes they’re showing you what needs to change. I’m still growing and learning, but those experiences have made me more intentional about how I build, who I work with, and the kind of impact I want to have. I wouldn’t change the lessons because they’ve helped shape the person and entrepreneur I am today.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
My work sits at the intersection of entrepreneurship, brand development, entertainment, and community impact. Throughout my journey, I’ve been involved in building businesses and experiences that bring people together, tell compelling stories, and create opportunities.

I’m a co-founder of Antè & Co., a beauty and personal care brand focused on hydration and everyday self-care; Evolv Sports Group, a youth athletic development organization focused on helping athletes grow on and off the court; and I’ve also been involved in developing consumer brands and creative ventures, including NeoCurly. Each business represents a different part of my vision: creating products people can connect with, developing talent, and building brands with a purpose beyond simply making a sale.

My background in entertainment, event production, and influencer marketing has also played a major role in shaping how I approach business. Having worked with creatives, artists, influencers, and other entrepreneurs, I understand the importance of building genuine relationships, creating memorable experiences, and finding ways for brands to connect with their audiences. I bring that perspective into everything I do, from marketing and partnerships to business strategy and community engagement.

What sets me apart is my ability to connect creativity with business strategy. I’m not interested in building something just for the sake of having a brand. I want to understand the people it serves, identify what makes it different, and create a foundation that can grow over time. I’ve learned to be resourceful, adapt to challenges, and find opportunities even when the resources aren’t perfect.

What I’m most proud of is the fact that I’ve continued to build across different industries while staying committed to my vision. With Antè & Co., I’m proud of creating a product-centered brand in the beauty and personal care space. With Evolv Sports Group, I’m proud of working toward opportunities that help young athletes develop their skills, confidence, and potential. Both represent the kind of entrepreneurship I believe in: building something valuable while creating room for others to grow.

Ultimately, I want readers to understand that my brands are part of a larger vision. I’m passionate about creating businesses that combine quality, culture, creativity, and community. I’m still evolving as an entrepreneur, but my goal remains the same: to turn ideas into meaningful ventures, build lasting relationships, and create a legacy that extends beyond myself.

How do you think about luck?
Luck has opened doors throughout my journey, especially in entertainment, marketing, and entrepreneurship. But I’ve also faced setbacks, limited resources, and unexpected challenges. Those experiences taught me to adapt, stay resilient, and make the most of every opportunity. I believe luck can open a door, but preparation, consistency, and the willingness to keep going are what help you build something meaningful.
