Hidden Gems: Meet Kendallyn Johnson of KenYouReach LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kendallyn Johnson.

Hi Kendallyn, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Passion and helping others. That passion is what birthed KenYouReach. I started this practice because I saw a massive gap between people who needed to move better and the accessibility of specialized care.
My journey into the world of recovery, mobility, and movement really started with a deep fascination for how the human body functions, which led me to earn my Master’s degree in Athletic Training and Certification in Mobility Specialist. I wanted to take that elite-level knowledge of structural mobility, things like Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) and Soft tissue release , and bring it to the everyday person. But my mission from day one has been that mobility should be accessible to everyone. It shouldn’t be a luxury reserved for a select few.
I always tell my elders: ‘You want to be 80 years old and still able to clean your own self.’ That usually gets a laugh, but I’m soooooo serious about it. True wellness isn’t just about hitting a personal record in the gym today; it’s about maintaining your dignity, your independence, and your quality of life decades down the line. Whether I’m working with powerlifters looking to improve their squat depth, athletes to improve their performance, or grandmothers who just want to move without pain, the goal is exactly the same.
Today, KenYouReach has grown from an idea into a dedicated studio space, community beach sessions, and intensive workshops. We’ve built a community rooted in the belief that taking care of your body is a lifelong investment, and we’re just getting started.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Has it been a smooth road? Absolutely not. Anyone who tells you entrepreneurship is a smooth ride is selling you a fantasy! It has definitely been rocky at times. Building KenYouReach from the ground up means wearing every single hat—from therapist and educator to marketer, accountant, and administrative staff. Navigating the business side of things, like scaling up to a dedicated studio space and getting the word out in the community, comes with a lot of trial, error, and late nights.
But honestly, the challenges have been the most rewarding part. With my faith in God, I don’t look at the rough patches as failures; I look at them as assignments.
Every hurdle has forced me to grow as a leader, deepen my resilience, and rely on something bigger than myself. When things get overwhelming, my faith anchors me and reminds me of my purpose: to serve people and help them live independent, pain-free lives.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about KenYouReach LLC?
KenYouReach is a structural mobility and stretch therapy practice dedicated to helping people move freely, recover smarter, and live without limits. We specialize in advanced techniques like PNF stretching and soft tissue release, bridging the gap between high-level athletic recovery and everyday functional longevity.
We strip away the exclusive, intimidating ‘luxury’ vibe of wellness. Mobility is a human right, not a luxury. We are known for a diverse client base, helping powerlifters optimize their lifting mechanics, while equally focusing on helping everyday people maintain their physical independence. We want you hitting your goals in the gym today, but we also want you capable of taking care of your own self when you’re 80. That raw commitment to long-term dignity and independence sets us apart..
Brand-wise, I am most proud of how I’ve taken mobility work out of the confines of a dark clinic and turned it into a vibrant community movement. Seeing people connect at my beach sessions, support each other in community events, and take genuine ownership of their health is incredibly rewarding. If there is one thing I want readers to know about the KenYouReach brand, it’s that you belong here. No matter your age, your current flexibility level, or your fitness background, our services are designed to meet you exactly where you are. We are here to help you unlock your body’s true potential so you can live a full, independent life.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Over the next 5 to 10 years, I see the mobility and stretch therapy industry shifting from a ‘trendy wellness addition’ to an absolute requirement for everyday health. We are moving away from reactive care, only fixing things when they hur, and moving into an era of proactive, preventive longevity.
Three major shifts will define the next decade:
From ‘Elite Performance’ to ‘Everyday Autonomy’: Advanced recovery techniques are no longer locked behind elite sports or luxury boutiques. People are waking up to the fact that they need to train for their 80s, not just their 20s. The industry is shifting heavily toward active aging and everyday accessibility.
Corporate Wellness Integration: With desk jobs taking a massive toll on the workforce, structured mobility and desk-reversal care will become standard workplace benefits, rather than an afterthought.
Smarter, Data-Driven Customization: We will see a tighter integration between wearable recovery tech and hands-on therapy, making sessions hyper-customized to exactly what a client’s body needs that day.
These shifts are exactly why I built KenYouReach. The industry is finally catching up to our core belief: mobility belongs to everyone, and true wellness is a lifelong investment in your independence. We are already positioned right where the future is heading.
