Today we’d like to introduce you to Mohamed Sulieman.
Hi mohamed, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started working as a delivery driver for Domino’s while I was in college. Then I got promoted to an assistant manager role. A year later, I got my first store as a GM. In less than a year, I became a district manager.
I worked there for over 6 years. I used to eat at Stone Hot Pizza. The food was always fresh and tasty. Then I met one of the partners, and he asked me if I would like to be A partner and share my expertise.
In 2013, I bought my first Stone Hot Pizza location in Alexandria City. Then, in 2017, I opened my second location in Arlington.
I was able to do all that while fighting a tumor in my head. I had several surgeries and radiation therapy. I have 2 kids; my son Faris is 13, and my Daughter Razan is 10.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Health was my most struggles. I have a tumor behind my ear. I went through many surgeries. I also lost my partner 3 years ago suddenly. He had a stroke. He was an architect and a very good artist.
As you know, we’re big fans of stone hot pizza . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We sell pizza and Italian and Mediterranean food. We are huge on fresh ingredients and a brick oven.
Healthy, tasty, and fresh food is what we strive to give our customers daily. We are one of the first Halal pizza places in the DMV area. We do a lot of catering events. We donate to charities.
I am proud of being able to feed all the homeless for free. We have a policy that any homeless person who walks into our store and asks for food. They will receive free food, with no questions asked.
How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
I would like to reach out to the community and be part of every event or fundraiser. I love helping the poor and the needy. It’s my passion.
