Today we’d like to introduce you to Anisa Turner.
Hi Anisa , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started working with Artists in 2021. First I was managing from 2021 to 2024 but as I went on I realized I was more than a manager. I built a lot of relationships and connections throughout the music industry and business industry just by networking and moving around. I found that I could use the knowledge I had to not only help on the music side but also the business side. I started doing credit and helping not only artists build their future in financial literacy but also people in the community.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve had a few obstacles since 2021. A lot of ups and downs. But that’s given in the industry I chose. When you’re balancing life outside of the music and within the industry it’s a little harder. It’s been times i was signing a deal but losing a place. It’s been times i was on one of the biggest calls of my career and still fighting to keep my 9-5. Life was lifing so many times but I made it through.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in Artists Relation & development. I’m known for managing artists and fixing credit. I’m most proud of my accomplishments in such small time, I believe the thing that sets me apart from others in the industry is I genuinely care. I don’t do this to benefit myself, I really enjoy helping people and you don’t find authentic and genuine people any more
