Diam Wins is the founder and creative visionary behind OXImoron Fashion Sense, a multifaceted lifestyle brand centered around helping people curate how they look, create, and live. Under OXImoron, she operates Diam Styled Me, a personal styling and image consulting brand; DSM Studios, a mobile creative studio offering photography, set design, and creative direction; and Diam Did It, her newest mobile beauty venture specializing in natural hair, protective styles, wig installs, and makeup artistry.
Through each brand, Diam blends fashion, beauty, creativity, and lifestyle to create services and experiences that help her clients show up as their most confident and intentional selves.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This September marks 11 years in my entrepreneurial journey. While there have been high points, there have been far more lows and plateaus than I ever expected. A significant hurdle has been establishing my presence and finding my target audience in the DMV area as a North Carolina native. More recently, a major challenge has been convincing clients to prioritize my services in the current economy. It is a complex space to navigate because I completely understand the financial pressure people are under; consequently, my work has required me to pivot in numerous ways while ensuring my existing businesses remain afloat. Through faith and the support of my network, I have been persevering and doing my best to make it all happen.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
For over 11 years, I have cultivated a career in fashion styling and photography, earning a reputation for my unique, versatile approach to visual storytelling. My work is defined by my identity as a nature lover; I incorporate a signature touch of green into almost every photoshoot I produce—it is my personal stamp of approval on every look.
What truly sets me apart is my ability to function as a one-man band, acting as a creative unicorn in the industry. As a certified image consultant, I offer comprehensive services that go beyond simple styling. I provide personal shopping, curate brand-specific wardrobes for small business owners, and handle end-to-end creative direction. This includes designing sets, styling the garments, and photographing the final vision myself.
While I am proud of the body of work I have built and the many talented creatives I have collaborated with over the last decade, my proudest moment remains my pandemic-era fashion show. During that time, I successfully showcased the work of seven female designers from the Charlotte, NC area, proving that even in challenging times, creativity can flourish. I thrive on helping my clients stand out, and I bring a holistic, expert perspective to every project I touch.

I am launching the latest extension of the O.F.S. brand: Move In Style! We don’t just help people move; we help them transition into their next chapter. Think of us as a luxury concierge service that combines moving coordination, professional unpacking, organization, closet styling, and interior design.
