Today we’d like to introduce you to Juicee Bub.

Hi Juicee , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Juicee Bub was led to become an artist by a family member who he frequently hung out with back in 1998, who at the time was an artist. It began one day when a song was on the radio and Juicee Bub was reciting the lyrics, at which point his family member told him he raps their lyrics better than they do and he needs to be a rapper. Juicee Bub began his rap career in 1998, known formally as Lil Rue, until he rebranded his name to Juicee Bub, “Dat Country Boy,” in the year 2010. In 2001, Juicee Bub recorded his first hit single entitled “Freaky Freaky”, which was in high demand and heavy rotation at the hottest club in that era The Coppermine in Petersburg, Virginia every Saturday night. In 2004, Juicee Bub established Cheyeee Entertainment LLC and Cheyeee Entertainment LLC Publishing (ASCAP), then released his first LP ,” Freaky Freak Of The Year” which was in stores. From that LP, Juicee Bub released his single “Ms Maam” that received radio airplay and also made an impact in the clubs, which got him noticed and in talks with Sony Music and Def Jam. In 2007, Juicee Bub released an EP entitled “Rue Album Sampler” that featured the single “Get Loose” that was created for his older fan base, which has that old school, new school, and line dance feel, that attracted the attention of his younger fan base. During the year 2008, Juicee Bub released the single entitled “Shawty Got Back,” which created buzz in multiple nightclubs and also received radio airplay in multiple states. In June of 2010, the initial rebranding to “Juicee Bub,” was established, and not long after he wrote and recorded the ring tone for the highly anticipated Evo phone, and it was also featured in the Sprint HTC Evo Commercial via youtube receiving over 30k views. During the same year, Juicee Bub also released the self-titled LP “I’m Juicee Bub B*t@h !!” which featured the single “Pretty Feet”. In 2012, Juicee Bub released the single “Shake Dem Dreads” (featuring Pastor Troy) that was featured on the 2016 EP “It’s All About Me” In 2019, Juicee Bub began to INCORPORATE HIS COUNTRY UPBRINGING WHILE INFUSING HIS URBAN SWAG TO ESTABLISH THE GLOBAL COUNTRY MOVEMENT OF UNITING COUNTRY/RAP MUSIC, FASHION, AND ETC TOGETHER. In 2020, Juicee Bub released the single “Country Boys” (featuring Foogiano), which was also in rotation on multiple radio stations in a variety of cities and states. In 2021, Juicee Bub made an appearance as a host on the Wild ‘n Out tour. Also, Juicee Bub released the single “How We Do It,” which received radio airplay and also in rotation on a variety of radio stations. In October of 2023, he released the highly anticipated single “Country Breeze” (featuring Matt Journigan) a country singer from Nashville, Tennessee, which is gaining major traction on the radio, and is featured on the October of 2024 newly LP “Swagged Out Country Boy”. That LP has multiple songs that are actively gaining radio airplay such as “Shame On You,” “How We Do It,” “Country Boys,” and “Country Breeze.” In November 2024, Juicee Bub established his new company, “Country Global Entertainment LLC,” a diverse record label and entertainment company created for artists of all genres, both established and up-and-coming. Mid February of 2025 I connected with country singer Barefoot Joe and featured him on the chorus of my new single entitled “Born In The Country”. So as planned I assembled a (Video Shoot and Party In The Field) within three weeks that featured a mechanic bull, bar trailer, food trucks, monster trucks, atvs/utvs, trucks, and over 500 people in attendance in their country attire which was filmed by Barefoot Bandit Productions on the day of Sunday, March 23rd, 2025 on my/family land in the country a rural area of Stony Creek, VA. Kickin Country Line Dance premiered the official “Born In The Country” video the day before the release on Thursday April 24th, 2025 at Great American Ranch (Midlothian, VA) which also had a excellent crowd in attendance. “Born In The Country” (featuring Barefoot Joe) was released Friday April 25th, 2025 on all streaming platforms. Also, in 2025, out of more than 86,000 songs/artists, Juicee Bub’s “Born In The Country” was one of the 2.8% to also be nominated for two awards: Song Of The Year and Video Of The Year, for one of the biggest country music awards shows (Josie Music Awards) at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. In October of 2025, Juicee Bub released the single “Country Hoedown.” Juicee Bub plans to release the next single entitled “Country Valentine” ft. Barefoot Joe on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026, followed by a spring album release entitled “Welcome To The Country.” On March 10, 2026, Juicee Bub/Country Global Entertainment plans to release the first single from Tenaeja, a multitalented female artist, entitled “I’m Feisty

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Juicee Bub says It definitely has been obstacles from the beginning of my career until this present day. He has learn to embrace any challenges/obstacles etc and continue to move forward, keeping “The Mane Upstairs” first and stay prayed up always, as they all were lessons that needed to be learned which also made him stronger as an overall in every aspect.
