I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not always been a smooth road. We started Madam Amina on the first floor of our home with a very limited budget and little brand recognition. One of our biggest challenges was introducing our clothing at festivals, where customers were unfamiliar with our brand and the quality of our products. Building trust, establishing a customer base, and making our name known were some of the most difficult parts of our journey.
However, believing in ourselves and each other, along with the encouragement and support of our family members, helped us overcome these challenges. Every small success gave us the confidence to keep moving forward. We learned that building a business takes patience, dedication, and, most importantly, faith in what you are doing.
