Today we’d like to introduce you to Shaun Haidar.
Hi Shaun, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I am Shaun, and my story is quite interesting a lot of ups and downs. I’ll start by reminiscing on my childhood, I had a great one. I was fortunate enough to be involved private school then eventually day care where I become more social and made friends easily. Later on graduated from high school and had no idea what I wanted to do. I went to college and I started to pursue my modeling career. I was skipping class for modeling jobs which I’m not proud of, but I didn’t see an end goal with college. Fast forward a few years and I got into the corporate scene, I am working at NASA as a government contractor of a Fortune 500 company. Looking to expand my horizons specially with modeling and acting and I went to Florida for an opportunity with an agency so now just seeing how the process goes.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Some of the struggles were people in my circle telling me to play it safe and it might not workout. Other issues were pertaining to not enough help with my goals when I was a teenager
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a logistics analyst for NASA headquarters. My role is to make sure all our data is safe and efficient. The data gets plugged into our servers which we use daily. Now AI is taking over and we are starting to use self automation to assist us with our tasks.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I haven’t taken that many risks but what I will say is that I am open to it especially being young. I think it’s an important part of life that everyone needs to experience.
