Today we’d like to introduce you to Cinthya Gualavisi.
Hi Cinthya, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My name is Cinthya Gualavisi. I am 29 years old, proudly Ecuadorian, a mother, an entrepreneur, and a
woman who has learned that sometimes starting over is the beginning of something much greater.
I come from a close-knit, hardworking family in Ecuador. From a very young age, I dreamed of having the
freedom to work from anywhere, earn based on my abilities, and, most importantly, build a career doing
something I genuinely loved.
I studied Occupational Safety, an experience for which I am incredibly grateful because it taught me
discipline, responsibility, and many valuable skills. But deep down, I always knew entrepreneurship was
where I belonged.
At 20, I discovered entrepreneurship, sales, leadership, and financial education. I became passionate about
building businesses, creating communities, and helping others develop their skills and opportunities.
My journey was far from perfect. I experienced successes and failures, gains and losses, and moments that
challenged me deeply. I built educational communities around digital business and financial markets. One
milestone I am particularly proud of was becoming the second-highest-performing Latina woman with
FTMO, a well-known proprietary trading company.
But while I was growing professionally, my personal life was becoming increasingly difficult. Ecuador no
longer felt like a safe or peaceful environment in which I could build the future I wanted. I also went through
an abusive relationship that deeply affected me emotionally and financially. At a time when I was already
facing difficult decisions, I discovered that I was pregnant.
That moment changed everything.
I knew I wanted something different for myself and my baby. I wanted safety, stability, peace, and the
opportunity to build a future without constantly living in fear. My family and I moved to the United States in
November 2023.
Starting over in a new country was one of the most challenging experiences of my life. Everything was new:
the culture, the systems, the language, where we would live, and how we would navigate a country where
we did not yet understand how everything worked.
As a single mother, I faced many battles on my own. I had to provide for my baby and myself while
navigating motherhood, financial pressure, emotional challenges, and the process of rebuilding my
confidence. After losses, failed businesses, motherhood, and immigration, I lost confidence in myself.
I remember what it felt like to struggle to cover the basics while caring for a newborn, adapting to a new
country, and feeling emotionally alone—even while having family around me.
But I refused to give up. I decided that this chapter of my life was not going to define the rest of my story.
I began studying the opportunities available in the United States. I continued learning about digital products
and digital marketing, and I kept training people in the areas I was passionate about, including investing and
the financial markets.
At one point, I even cleaned houses. That experience was humbling, but it also gave me clarity. It reminded
me that I wanted to build a career that gave me more freedom and allowed me to use the skills I had spent
years developing.
I also made learning English a priority. I immersed myself in the language because I understood that
improving my communication skills would open more doors in this country.
Eventually, I was given an opportunity to work in customer service for a company that I will always be
grateful for. They welcomed me during a moment when I needed stability and helped me understand the
professional environment in the United States.
However, motherhood continued to shape every decision I made. As a single mother, I struggled with
leaving my son in daycare while I worked. When he became sick and I could not always be there for him, I
felt powerless. I did not want to constantly depend on other people simply because I needed to work.
That became another turning point.
I decided to specialize in the financial industry in the United States. I obtained my license in life insurance
and annuities, continued educating myself, and began building a career aligned with the life I wanted.
Today, I can proudly say that I have been able to build an income in this industry while gaining something
extremely valuable to me: greater control over my time.
The journey has not been easy, and I still face challenges. But the skills, discipline, resilience, and mindset I
have developed throughout the years have opened doors that I once thought were impossible.
My story has changed the way I see the immigrant experience. I want to challenge the belief that Latinos
arrive in the United States and are destined to simply survive from paycheck to paycheck.
We can do more. We can build careers. We can become business owners. We can educate ourselves,
develop new skills, create wealth, and build lives that give our families more opportunities.
Today, my vision goes beyond my own success. I want to build a large community of people—especially
immigrants, parents, and individuals ready for a new chapter—who want to grow professionally and
financially in the United States.
I want to help people discover opportunities, develop profitable careers, become financially educated, and
create a life where success does not come at the cost of missing the moments that matter most with their
families.
I know what it feels like to start over. I know what it feels like to lose confidence, to be afraid, to struggle
financially, and to wonder if you will ever find your way again.
And I also know that your current circumstances do not have to determine your future.
Sometimes, the chapter that feels like the hardest one is actually the chapter where you discover who you
were meant to become.
My goal now is not simply to make more money. It is to build a life of purpose, freedom, and impact—and to
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Being a single mom its a hard thing on this country and everywhere, being an Entrepreneur and Build a business from the scratch has been challenging but awesome at the same time. Build a confidence on my Identity, skills and business has been another good Challenge.
