We found a major gap in the wedding industry when we were brides! HoneyDo Socials was born after our own weddings, when we found ourselves wishing we could relive everything right away. The day flies by in such a blur, and waiting weeks for our photos and videos left us craving for those tangible memories even sooner. So we built the kind of service we wished we had! One that lets you relive it all while it still feels fresh.
And we didn’t just stop at weddings! We quickly realized brands and event hosts wanted fast, in-the-moment video that captures the energy, the people, and the story as it’s happening too. Our ultimate goal is to capture your day in a way that lets you feel it all over again. Whether it’s your wedding day or special event, you deserve to be fully present and have the footage to look back on, fast!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Wedding and event content creation is a relatively new category in the industry, and with any shift comes a learning curve. Early on, not everyone was immediately excited about adding another member to the media team on a wedding day. One of our biggest challenges has been helping change the narrative—showing that this service isn’t disruptive, but instead collaborative. At HoneyDo, we focus heavily on education, communication, and seamless integration so our presence enhances the day rather than getting in the way.
